Hi guys. Hope you are all well! I am thinking of getting my first ROO, the one I have found is from one of our TD. I can pull off the watch, I just want your thoughts on if you see anything wrong with this model, eg: is it a fantasy model, is it accurate enough? Anything else I should know about these watches? Cheers and thanks

Yes, he's the best for sure.

thanks mate, you hit it on the head :-)

Na, mine doesn't have a hologram on the back :-) lol lol . Not sure Mike on my specs, all I know is eta with gen date window..

Mine was not from a TD, it was custom made from Parts.

Hi Guys, Just received this Day Date I had built for me from a fellow forum member. All I can say, was that he was so great to deal with, and done such a cracking job!!!!! I am really happy with the result. I will get another done, that's for sure, looks real enough for me. lol It feels right, nice and smooth and the ETA is just humming and keeping perfect time!! Let me know your thoughts. Cheers

Mate, can you pm me with the details of your watch and where you picked it up from, that looks mad as hell !,!

Thanks mate, yes it is a DW case, and is manual wind only, I believe it is the thinner case? It was serviced before I got it, started running fast, then the crown came off in my hand. Really sick of mucking around, so thought I don't mind spending the cash to get a super good movement put in, as I wan tot keep this long term, if my man in the US can fix it to as good as an original v72 or 7750 then that's fine, but IMO I think a branded movement would be better. Oh and the stop watch doesn't work anymore. I would like to use the stop watch with out worrying it will break.

Hi Guys, So The time has come to look to do a heart transfer on my Spinmaster Daytona. I am sending it to the US to have this done by a forum member, however before I send it I need to look at which movement I will need to seek out, a V72 or a 7750. By looking at the pics does anyone know what Will fit? I want a super reliable daily wearer, but want all chronos to work. I don't mind spending the cash, most of it has been done I only want a good movement in it and would prefer to keep the dial. Your advice is appreciated very much. Cheers and thanks

Does this guys watches look legit? NZ auction site.

I meet Grant twice, and both times he had his head up his ass. We all know he inherited the business. I used to deal with About Time in the 90s there in Newmarket, they were excellent, got my first Rolex there, a gmt master. -

Yeh, he's been around a while in NZ, I remember him around in 2003-2004. Sells a bit of Rolex etc... Never buy of partridges , he's a [censored]. Lol -
Hey guys, Was thinking and reading a few posts lately as you do and I came to this conclusion as I'm sure it's been said before: The classic question: Is this Gen Looking enough? My observations: 1. Most have never held a Gen, and most wouldn't know a insert from an insert. 2. On the wrist, well not a lot of people can tell, unless you have super bionic eyesight! 3. Most people even collectors and watch shop people have never seen a red submariner, DW Daytona etc etc, so I don't think you need to worry, but again don't wear a rep into a AD. And the last rule, if you wear your rep into the Basel watch fair, your a real [censored], because you will get caught out there! Lol lol

Hey Richard, I have but I don't have any tools, and wouldn't have the first idea of taking it apart to send. I am waiting for Rolexman to get back to Me, if he is too busy, I will send it to this watchmaker, might be expensive but at least it will get done, it's been sitting in the draw since I got it, and can't enjoy it.

Just waiting for a reply from him, but I suspect his new little one is taking up all his time, and I certainly don't wont to intrude on his family time at the moment, that's the most important thing in the world.
