In my line of work, losing a watch or having someone try to take it is common so rep 90% of the time. I have one or two gens around for special occasions however

The real question is not "are high quality reps waterproof"
The question is "did the guy who assembled my watch in China remember to install all of the rubber seals"
That is why no one can give you a straight answer. The real answer here is You can not know if the actual watch you receive is waterproof until you test it.
That's a great point. If, say, the seals are off, can one fix them easily?

Hello all, I was curious if anyone has used their rep, and which one, for diving or swimming? Can anyone recommend a rep with good waterproofing?
I know some reps say they were tested for waterproofing (the noob explorer II comes to mind)
