  1. I am 38 this year, and made my first million before 30. It has been a few more millions after that. My new ride, purchased in Singapore starting of this year, probably cost more than your collection of cars put together.

My point is, we are not here to play the "bigger balls" game like what my friend Ezio eloquently pointed out, but if you do engage us down that road, you'll find yourself quite far down the line in terms of personal wealth. We are not a motley crew who'll go wow over a gen Rolex submariner. In fact, the good people at Rwg will more likely drool over a Franken one built from parts painstakingly sourced and lovingly put together. You'll likely miss this point mate. :)

    Sir King Frog,

Awesome you retired at 54 ! did you have a Party at Studio 54 ? lol , you Cars you say you own are reasonable to say the least........Paid off your home huh ? well done mine was paid off at 27 !

I calculated your Car collection at a reasonable 120K max probably less, is there a point to say you have 4 ? as i can assure you my wife's " Autobiography"if you even know what it is,  is worth double your collection of cars, then again 2 of my AP's would match your cars

If you wanna play the who's got the biggest D**K here we can go down that path, and that's fine, but i can assure you there are people on here such as myself that will flame you too a cinder of carbon ! and by the way, people on here are from All walks of life ! some of us Surgeons and some are students and thats' the way we roll the dice here !

Apologie's to my real friends on here ! but this thread got me Fired up ! gotta put the flam thrower out !

PS Enjoy the Pic of my Wife White Gold Sub she was given on Monday for her Birthday and my Current Daily wearer the Rolex Deep sea !

Hilarious. This has to be one of the most amusing threads I have seen on any of the forums in awhile.

  2. The lume on the inner bezel doesn't seem to be very good: replicawatchvideo.com/ap2014021101-video_50f831244.html

I currently have a V5 and I consider it to be one of the best reps I have ever owned. I have had a good look at the pics of the V5.1 and I have to agree with you about the bezel lume on the numbers on some of the pics I have seen, but that may not be the case with all of them.

At this stage, I will not be getting the 5.1 as I do not see enough reason to do so given how good the V5 is.

  3. Good choice. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts once you have received it and made some coffee. I have a very good espresso machine and also a pod machine, but I always go back to the Chemex when I need a really good coffee.

  4. RWI Admin have posted this on the site. At least the site is back, even with a holding page.

"We are having unplanned downtime due to a hardware issue.
We will be back up within 24-48 hours, please contact admin@replica-watch.info with any major questions and/or concerns.

Please keep the emails to a minimum if possible.
We are working on getting the site back up and in a better state it was in before the hardware issue arose."

....it's actually been great to spend some time at RWG though!

  5. There seems to be a bit of chatter lately about a Diver V4. I am not sure if these means the Noob V3 with a few tweaks, such as date window AR tinge (less blue) and more precise lume application which means this news would be coming from Angus and Toro, or is it a completely new watch from another factory, say Chanel, which means it might be suggested by Andrew/Josh?

My thoughts are that if it is a Noob V4, then Toro will know.

    Has anyone heard anything reliable?

  6. Oh, so the lume will be the poor quality as per the pics shown in the pre-order message?

If this is really the case, really is a pity for such a beautiful piece of work in all other aspects.

Eager the see the real thing if the lume will be improved to the proper SL.

If the lume is disappointing, then I am sure that some members will send their V3 to the modders for new superlume, which was one of the standout mods done to the V2. The pics of the prototype, where the lume seemed poorly applied, were magnified anyway, so it will be interesting to see what the first reviews are like.
