  1. ‘May the Lord bless you and protect you. 25 May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. 26 May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’ All the Best wishes to You and Your beloved ones. Keep strong, have faith, You are in my prayers.
  2. Interesting project with nice, illustrative pictures. "Vice-protection" is simple and well done. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Hi, that pricetag is mentioned in TC´s blog. Are You sure You don´t want to read this once again: http://blog.tc-sub.com/2014/03/tc-93250-v5-review.html Gen is gen, but depending on the build, that money could go towards insert, crown and tube, etc. and a gen Bulang&Sons leather strap:) Sometimes I can be a real cheapskate but I´d either go for a new TC one or get a gen - but at least used instead of brand-new. It´s the right price but it´s 2 much.
  4. Looks beautiful with the shiny white dial and well recessed screws. Wear it well, I´ve got the 15400 with the black dial but really do like the white. Wear it well, enjoy. Mine says hello:
  5. Going to try that out. Thanks:)
  6. All the best Cats, as well, good to have a lucky charm Dj and quartz Omega
  7. Hi the 7750 is very sensible if the date is changed between the 10 and 4 position (while the datechange wheel is engaged). You should never do that. I would try to live with it as it is.
  8. Hi, it´s not the best Panerai out there and depending on the movement the power reserve is functional or not. Maybe check Ale´s PAM-guide. Generally speaking caseset -design -wise it´s one of the casesets I do like on PAM´s.
  9. The V1 had a nice creamy white on the markers and the hands. The red V2 had mismatched very white hands and a so-called improved pearl. Without guarantee on the V3 they fixed the mismatched hands again. It´s beautifully done:)
  10. Congrats, the Blackbay is one of the easiest to wear allround watches in my opinion. And the rep is beautiful. Both bomberjacket leather (strappedfortime) and Bradystrap sailcloath are ways to go and make it much lighter to wear. Waiting for the pics:)
  11. Nice boxset - Ohh and there is a watch too Fascinating, perfect choice, wear it well
  12. Have read about it - just pray it leaves China until Friday before the total shutdown for the longest holidays
  13. You win! I want a sub in my garden too.... I love the Tudor, but today it´s a TC on the wrist
  14. No question You are right and it is like things should be. The fact is that the best of the best imo have extremely poor communication. And I came to believe it´s because they focus on their job, the quality etc. instead of sitting 24 hrs in fornt of the pc reading/writing mails.
  15. You can never have enough to choose from:) Nice watches btw.
  16. One of the best TD´s is "slow" and has very poor communication. Doesn´t matter if the reps are tops and the trust and reliability are there. No need to update: Monday: Was to the watch market, saw 2 samples of the watch U want, one had a bad rehaut, the other was difficult in winding; Tuesday: Was to watch market, no news Wed: Was to w m guy wasn´t there Thu: Found another one, the dial was scratched... and so on others are very fast in getting the Monday watch and telling You: it´s a rep .. go buy a gen if You claim about the rehaut and they will never tell You that the crown is slipping or sticking... (from the second watch they will present very fast on Tuesday) all the while the "reliable" guy is hunting for the good one another 10 days. Just saying
  17. After having been too patient in the past I would ask for a refund and move on. He could have said "Not very good sample" - in the first place. Better luck next time.
  18. Buy them from the nice lady at cheapestnatostraps.com, 10% off on 2nd order. Huge selection - avoid the Zulu-straps, they are thicker One of the nicest and most comfortable straps Ihave:
  19. Very, very nice. With a double AR coating and a new dwo it would be perfect but I would save that for a time I would have to send it off for a service anyway.
  20. Hi, this is not Omega but about crowns an stems and very well done, just found it the other day: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/92799-a-brevet-rebuild/page-2 For replacement parts ofrey in Conus and Cousins.uk for the EU good luck
  21. Hi and welcome. Contact the TD and mail him back the Daytona. While I only had 1 problem once and the sending back was a positive experience, many returns seem to never arrive to destination or the turnaround time is several months. I suppose 3 would not pass Chinese customs, than You have nothing. The Daytona with running secs at six is a common problem, only the handwound Daytonas with the ST19 movement are reliable and good. Bezel on the Seadweller is fixable, should be no issue, tightening screws happens to be necessary, normally used to grease the backcase o-ring as well. Best not to use/touch it if one screw came totally loose (pull out the stem until it´s fixed). Pros who could help depends on Your location (Conus/EU etc.) Change the TD, go with a smaller one and don´t buy more than 2 at once. Wish You much better luck next time - from statistics Your next 30 purchases should be fine.
  22. Hi and welcome. Domi in Germany repaired those in the past, but not sure if he´s still repairing the IWC. For an alternative maybe research the thin, handwound IWC Fa. Jones with reliable 6497 movement and seconds at six.
