simply from first pic, clearness of rep crystal isn't bad at all
-
my first thought when saw this watch is "oh, no", but after saw a pic of wrist shot and thought it was actually quite nice
-
nice combo, but think it will look better when the ss second hand is installedsorry, double post -

I'm not a big fan of old threads being resurrected, particularly not when it's the first post of a new forum member, but I find myself in EXACTLY the same position as the OP having yesterday ordered my first rep - a SubC Noob V1 from Torobravo's at what seemed to be a good price, but every now and then I wonder if I should've paid the extra for a V2. I'm not going to get too hung up on it because it is my very first rep so I guess now all I've got to do is sit tight and wait for it to arrive
Any more Noob V1 owners out there care to share their experiences, offer any advice and maybe post a few pics to keep me going in the mean time?
the v2 is no stock right now and will be a new version v3 coming out soon, since you have already ordered v1 then now the only thing you can do is patiently waitting for its arrival, the biggest give away of v1 for me no expert though is the bezel that can be called out by the first sight
-
look at the 30 on bezel, it should be upside down
-
that's disapponiting, then i don't get it why most of the watches bought from dealers can be safely received in this regard, why don't we imitate the way of the dealer's
-
i have experience with registered mail but takes longer time, haven't heard of the OCS but googled it seems reliable and maybe the time cost is pretty much the same as registered mail just different couriers the same grade
-
I've had experience with a couple of replicas that were sold as "water resistant" but lacked the very basic gaskets for the job?
don't trust the claimed water resistance by dealer unless you have it tested
-
Thank you kindly, did he mention that on another forum please?
I know that for the ROO GP forged carbon, the rep CGs were given a satin grey finish as opposed to the correct microblasted finish. I had to do the mediablasting myself.
yeah, read it on another forum at RG, lol... hope you don't have to do the microblasted by yourself this time
-
one thing for sure.. the crown guards and endlinks would need some media blasting.
No comments on the dial and hands yet of course, since nobody knows what they would look like..
yeah, from the pic it indeed, but Augus said that the final product will have micro-blasted on cg... let see what is going to happen...
-
sure the later will be way better but don't know whether i can hang on that long, if the price is more friendly i'll get one without blinking...
-
haha, i initially thought barely people will do that, you guys are our gospels
-
one is carrying zf v3 and another is h-factory, as for these two versions, different people may have different thoughts cause both have their strengths and weakness, i will go for v3 cause the movement used in zf is better and that matters more for me personally
-
wow, we get a hero here my salute to u legend, your action is quite fast... can't wait to see the result!! hope it will be worth of the price
-
but man, looking at the price, $768 for preorder and not seeing the rest of the parts, who have the courage to pull the trigger?
-
it gonna be a long wait even though the rep factory will rep it, but now heard the 44mm ROO chrono is indeed in progess, that's also a great news
-
lol, Erict719 mind to be the first one?
-
if he can deliver what i saw on the site then i would rather willing to pay for that
-
-
maybe it's just because of the color, white dial makes the thicker date window more prominent and noticeable, and there indeed has the silver ring on subdials you can see through the first pic i posted

Christmas Eve now in my country

i initially thought this simply a decoration not truly functional, and 36 or 48 hours power reserve will be the extreme for a rep at least for now, and later confirmed this being a truth, wow, just so impressed by great accomplishment of this movement, i will definitely buy one after seeing some reviews about this watch, great work!!!
-
no way!!, 72 hours power reserve is impossible...
Need that think!
