Exactly. This watch is an accident looking for a place to happen. Actually, there have been accidents based on previous postings of this watch. Looks great, but, like you say, the movement is the killer. You're buying something that you KNOW is going to f**k up. You can't upgrade the movement, that's been settled. Here's an idea, get on the roof of your house and toss the money to the winds. Buy it or toss the money, the end result is the same.

Same thing here, wind or set time, push in crown, close and lock lever. This would make for an interesting poll.

I too am looking for a high quality Ferrari by Panerai rep. They are unbelieveably hot as gens from west coast authorized dealers and are actually selling at a faster clip than traditional Panerai's.

I've not seen the mention of Chronoswiss so many times in a thread on any of the forums. One of the finest brands out there yet hardly any recognition in the rep world. I have been looking and waiting for a Timemaster rep since they first arrived on the scene over 5 years ago.

While I am a Panny fanatic and have my share, I'd love to see good examples of Nardin's and Chronoswiss's, and other high quality, unique and fresher rep examples.

I won't say I won't buy any other straps, but I will say they are absolutely fantastic. At first I thought who would spend 200 bucks on a watch strap? I mean, how much leather does it take to make one, and for that I can get a pretty decent pair of shoes. Buy hey, after picking up the first of several Paci's, I think they're worth every penny. Kind of like Pannies, they're addicting, you can't buy just one.

Doesn't look as good as our So Cal get togethers. Can't wait.
