*bay #320554579650 looks ok for a DSSD ETA powered.
-
What movement for?
DSSD hands are MAXI size and lume is suposed to be blue.
-
For sure, the yuki's TUDOR compatible hands fits perfectly the ETA series 2824/2834/2836/2846, as an example, a pic of two recent projects:

Thanks for your kind words guys!

Very nice! Did you get the case from Eurotimez lately? There seem to have been some issues on their end. It makes me gun shy.
6 months ago or so...
I do have some items pending to arrive from ET, they neither answer my e-mails.

Nice watches Hike, great job.
-
Great news, for the prize, looks a good starting point for a budget project.

Fit a greased gasket like this one into that groove if you want a better water resistance:
This is my 5512, I'm sorry for the pic's quality:
-
Please, creation88, let us see the bezel construction assembly when arrives.
-
I wonder what the build/assembly of the bezel is like?
+1
That's one of the most important things regarding those vintages.
-
Dial Size is 29mm
Really bad news, a quality aftermarket dial (27mm) will not fit.
-
cgs??
I just take my lineal and outher there are 30mm and inner 29mm.
CG = crown guards.
30/29mm sounds good, just get a clark's 25-116 (around 5US$) and let us know!
Dial size is 27.00mm?
Crown size is 5.00mm?
Thanks in advance!
-
Let us know what is the external diameter of this plexi in mm; Clark's aftermarket 25-116 plexi specs are 29.00mm inner/30.20mm outher
I'm interested too to know the dial diameter in mm.
Let us see cgs on that model, please.
Thanks!

Anyone knows where to find aftermarket 29-06011 flat tube-to-case gaskets for triplock 24-7030.
Thanks in advance.

There is a gear that is held in place by the keyless works cover, can't figure out what it does, ther is nothing it sits on? Like a pinion? Just free sitting there?1?!
That movement is a 2836-2 clone, so that gear is the double corrector who moves the day corrector to quickset weekday feature. It is uselles it that movement because they dismantled the weekday feature.

The He valve on my SSD works correct way too, just wanted to dismantle it to add proper o-rings and silicone grease to make it waterproof. I does not mind to epoxy it because I wanted to leave it functional.
Thanks for your inputs!
-
Anyone reached dismantling the SSD's helium valve? It looks functional and seems to be screwed to the case... just wanted to add a gasket and silicone grease to make it waterproof.
Is there any place to source a like gen specs aftermarket one?
Thanks in advance for your time!

Gen-Clark crystal is 29.50mm, Noob is 29.00mm. You'll need this 0.50mm. to fit the gasket.
-
I used a 24-603-0 gen crown with a 24-5330 after market tube.
I drilled a <2.50mm hole and maked a new thread with an M3/0.35 mm tap. I don't really know about 24-6020 dimensions, but anyway I guess you'll need to make a new thread into the case.

I do like Proxxon products, it's a german company who manufactures hobbycraft tools, this is my current stuff, nothing special:
Proxxon Micromot Precision Drill/Grinder 100W-12V 5.000-2.000 rpm
Proxxon Micromot 40/E 40W-12V 3.000-15.000 rpm
Proxxon Drill Stand MB 140/S
Proxxon Micro Compoun Table KT 70
Proxxon Machine Vice MS4
Thanks to everyone for your compliments, specially to V.
Is this a Swiss ETA 2824 or not?
