Am soooooo close to getting the FM. Just need to decide on which one to get: the black face in SS (to be released sometime soon, hopefully) or the white face in gold.

The clasp on the SS has a very nice feel. The midlinks on strap though should have gold markings and 750 stamped on them.

Love the watch ... Hope the flaws are fixed. The biggest flaw with the watch is it's $588 tag

The Grand Carrera is 21.6K with regulator. My C1....which is a 28.8K with regulator (this is the new modified movement being used on some reps)....ticks over exactly @ 12....I think I mentioned this in my initial review of the watch as well. Most or all of my 7750x28.8K....move around 58 sec.

No idea on the gen...but the watch looks decent enuff. Not a big fan of the rotor though....looks tacky

Their claim to send the cam to Japan for repairs seems excessive/dubious.....there is a Canon repair centre in Singapore (unless it isn't covered by local warranty)

After scratching the grey matter for a month...finally found the perfect valentine's day gift for the wife. Got a Ring and a Bracelet from an Italian designer called Marco Bicego. These pieces are from the Marrakech collection. The pieces are made in 18K yellow gold ...twisted strands + diamonds. Ordered and paid...collecting them from the jeweller on Friday.
