Absolutely mate.....love the watch. Haven't worn anything else since I got it. Come to think of it....I was a sort of Rolex hater.....but this watch has made me a convert....now only if Rolex can come up with 44mm and bigger watches.....sigh

Someone has done a gen-rep side by side pics of Deepsea over @ RG. His comments are....other than slightly thin numbers on bezel, a tad smaller crown and the crispiness of the Date window....the rep is spot on. See the pics and they look identical.

Mate...for V2.2...you can have a total of 9 pages worth of apps...including the native iPhone apps. Once all the 9 pages are full...anything you install won't show up....you need to delete some apps to install new ones. Heard that apple will remove this limitation/increase page count in some future versions. Cheers

Did you try a complete reboot instead of a simple power off? Hold the home and power button for about 5-10 seconds (it will display power off option...but continue holding the buttons). The phone will then switch off and a second later you will see the apple logo. Leave the buttons at that time and let the phone come on. Hopefully this will help. Which firmware version are you on? This won't affect any data/programs on your phone. Cheers

Thanks Lani. I tried everything but couldn't see it with the loupe. But I am able to see it at certain angles with my zoom lense. It's a lovely watch....I posted some pics of mine in another thread. Cheers

I got a Sony Alpha 350 recently. Saw on the bay that I can get some macro reverse ring for this....so shouldn't be an issue. I also saw some macro rings being sold which kinda create a hollow tube in between the lense and the body....forcing the lense to focus closely. And these macro rings have electronics built into them....so all lense/camera functions including AF work as well. Obviously...these are quite expensive comapred to the reverse rings. Which one would be the better option in the long run?

Noticed on the fleabay that most of Deepseas being sold have some "V" series serial no. Mine has a "M" series serial no. What's the story with these serial nos. prefixes? Do they run in alphabetical order? Cheers

I had looked thru a loupe yesterday but couldn't find the rolex logo etched on the crystal.....realized that I can see it in some of my pics as the zoom factor was a lot more than the loupe. See the faint rolex logo in the pic below:

The lume....as Lani mentioned....started off as somewhat green. The hands were blue to start with but the markers were sort of greenish. Kept it under a halogen lamp for about 30 min.....the thing was glowing like a torch when I took it off. The markers look more blueish now. I guess it'll get better with time.

Wow...one month? I have sent a few packages from Singapore (watches sold here) to members in Europe....EMS reached in 3-4 days and reg. mail in a max of 10 days.

Got my SeaDweller an hour back. Took it to a shop for bracelet re-sizing. The watch is simply amazing...I like the weight and size of the watch....doesn't feel top heavy to me at all. I like to wear the watch a bit loose...and had to get only one link removed. The shop that I went to.....the owner is a good friend and had worked for Rolex as a technician for over a decade.....now sells/repairs rolexes. He was super impressed with the quality (he had never seen this new model prior to this). I looked @ the watch thru a loupe...and was amazed at the detailing on the rehaut....the serial no. is also etched very clearly and brarely visible thru naked eye. The surprising this is that even though I looked thru a loupe...I couldn't see the etched rolex logo on the crystal @ 6.00. Am assuming it's there on the crystal....but perhaps I needed to use a more powerful loupe. Overall....am very very happy with this watch. With 1 hour of charge in the open....the lume already is looking blue....the markers/hands are glowing right now....but not the pearl....I guess it might take some more time. Posting some crappy pics taken from my iPhone just now. Will post better pics tonight. Thanks Lani....this was money well spent on the DSSD. Cheers
