Hey guys I am in the market for a new everyday rep and have kind of narrowed it down to the Noob Pam127 or the ultimate AP Safari. What is everyones opinion which you think is a better every day rep. THanks everyone.

From seeing a gen one of these i would say the bracelet is indeed a weak link for the rep and of course the easiest tell on most Breitling reps the missing double AR coating. It amazes me how the designers of the Breitling reps are not putting the high quality double AR coating on all of the Breitlings. They could make a great Benltey rep if they added the Double Ar coating.

Yeah great watch the only real weakness and easy tell is the weak AR coating.

Hey guys i wonder if anyone has run into this problem. I have a HBB Ultimate (love this thing) and it has the screw down crown. The crown does not seem to want to screw down anymore. Im not sure if its the crown or the stem it screws onto. Anyone know of a fix on this if at all possible? I would like to not have to spend another $450 on a new HBB if possible. Thanks

Hey Guys I have a beautiful 187 that i have had relumed, AR done and it looks great its a one of my finest pieces. The problem i am having is that one of the hour markers on the bezel fell off. If you have seen the watch you will know what i mean its a high polished piece thats rectangled shapped. If anyone can help me get one of these or a replacement bezel or case or someway to fix this any help is appreciated. Thanks everyone

I still am waiting to see a high quality accurate Audemars T3 that is the right size and has the sec's at 12. I know it will never happen but a man can dream right. lol

Is there any chance of picking up one of these Honpo 187 still?

Hey everyone i'm trying to figure out how to tell if i have the elusive Honpo 187. I have one of the originals when it first came out. I know my HE release button is not correct but what are the other things i should look for?

Where did you source a black date wheel? I have the HBB carbon fiber dial and polished ceramic bezel but it has a white date wheel. Any way to get the black one on there>

Wow i remember this 127 i almost bought it also but the seller was very dishonest saying i never sent him a message confirming payment when i did. I'm sorry to hear what happened to you I guess its a lesson learned. Its funny he made it sound like it was such a modded watch and one of the best PAM 127's out there. lol

I have to put my vote in for the PAM 187. It's large at 47mm has the date and has a very good build quality and impressive presence on the wrist.

I love that new Bentley but that rehault is just way to damn big compared to the gen. I wish they just used the same one from the 30's model.

I pick this one, the Bentley 6.75. The Zigmeister did a fantastic review of the movement and says nothing but good things about it. Everytime I wear it, people notice. Very good quality construction.

Is the rehault issue that noticable?? I worry about this when you say that. How noticable is it?

Hey guys i am going to order the new Bentley 6.75 in the next day and can't decide on which color white or black dial. It seems this new one has a really good AR and one person said who has one it is as good as the SOSF. Which color do you guys think is the way to go and most gen looking. All opinions are welcomed. Hey everyone i was just curious if anyone has tested a Panerai 187 or Breitling Bentley 30's for water resistance in a swimming pool type enviroment. I just want to be able to swim with these in just a few feet of water no more than 9 feet deep. I do not have the tools to pressure test them and was curious if anyone has or has input if these 2 watches will have problems with the water. Thanks for the help everyone.

NOt sure about it having AR, it still says "light AR coating like the original 30second Bentley and that had no AR on it. Im just curious why noone is buying these. I really want one but want to hear some good reviews on it.

would you say the AR is better than the Bentley 30 's version with seconds at 9? I have one of them and its a great watch but horrible AR. I think i may have to pul the trigger on this. As another member mentioned the white part around the bezel does seem a bit thicker but i could be totally wrong. How long did it take for you to get yours?

No not the Bentley's, still the "slight AR" which translates to absolutely nothing on there. I still can't believe they can add such a simple feature that makes the biggest difference.

I thought the bracelet was suppose to be all fully polished not brushed and polished combo? I was going to order this but not unless its all fully polished stainless.

Thanks for the help but i am looking for one that has had the crystal Double Ar coated like Chieftang does. Im willing to pay for it but want to make sure it is a true Double Ar coated crystal.

Hey guys i am new to this forum but have been on the other 2 forums for a while. I have been trying to get my Bentley into an AR run but it looks like Chieftang might be taking and extended break. I am looking to buy a black dial 49mm Bentley that has had a double AR coating done to the crystal. I would be happy to get it and other watches coated but i can not find anyone to do it. If anyone has one for sale or any info for me it would be much appreciated. Thanks

This watch looks great but 2 things. 1) Why the Hell can they not double AR coat this crystal i mean come on the steelfish and evo got it why can't this. 2) Is it me or does the white inner number scale seem thicker than the original and previous version. Either way this is a for sure purchase for me, very nice looking piece.

I waiting for the double sided run myself. Chief just give me some notice so i can send mine off to vaccum for the removal and he can send them to you. What is the turn around on the AR process anyway?
