Lovely execution. Congrats!
Where can I can find pav90? That strap is exceptional!

I have to admit that the execution of these dials are pretty damn good.

Why would anyone in their right mind buy a fake dial that cost the same as if you were to purchase the gen.

I was also born in 1981, and I started thinking about this a few weeks ago -- I think I'm going to go 16750.

Best of all worlds in some ways, I can use the open 6 datewheel, I can use a CHS ETA movement without having to drop $1k on building another 3185, and I get the lovely acrylic crystal. I'm thinking cartel 1655 explorer case. Still haven't found a source for a dial unfortunately.
I was born in 1984 and went with a birth year 16550 from HQ.

Meh, I'm not a fan of this at all.

Umm, the thickness of these cases will never get you remotely close to that of a 1675. Akira once told me, "doesn't matter how much you MOD a cartel, you can't quite get the look."
I just saved some cash and purchased a gen a while back from HQmilton for those very reasons. After having it n my hands it all made sense. The 1675 is very slim and there is only so much you can trim from a cartel before ruining the entire case.
Best of luck.

No the rehaut hasn't been updated. I think the case is now actually the same as the 1665 just without the HE valve.
Crystal choice makes a lot of difference to the look of the rehaut too. I've found that the Clark T19 distorts the cartel, making it look even larger. The best I've come across that optically reduces the thickness is the T19 Superdome from CWP, it's very close to the original crystal. However, I've had several of these fracture on me. So went for the gen service crystal on the meters first watch previously posted. On the feet first I went for the Ofrei PA 46266 which to my eyes is very similar to the gen T19 service crystal.
Good stuff. Wear it well.

The gens aren't so thick and the dial seems a bit more flushed against the case. I was wondering if this was one of the upgrades with the new case.

Thank you and I will make sure to keep an eye out on their forum. I have to agree with you on the Prev that they are by far one of the nicest pams ever built.
