Oooh...that sucks. I feel your pain. Would you believe this happened to me with an IWC CATALOGUE???
Hmm I hate that when your stuff gets stolen....
Yes, it does happen & it is all part of the 'fun' of rep collecting. On the positive side, most collectors factor shipping losses into their pricing & are usually happy to replace lost/stolen shipments.
Yes I know, but most of the times they replace your shipment when it gets stolen on the way to you.
In my case the watch got stolen on the way back to the collector.
But i'm in good contact with the collector, he advised me to make a claim at the postoffice. I'll do that tommorow. See what happens.

Hello all,
Some weeks ago I ordered a watch from one of our collectors. The watch was DOA, there was a small piece of metal stuck to the back crystal (see through back). Made some pictures of it and mailed is to the collector. He told me it was a movementholder and should be a 5 min. fix. Because I don't know a repfriendly watchsmith and I don't own any watchtools nor have I the knowledge to repair it myself, the collector agreed that I could sent the watch back to him so he could fix it.
I sent the watch back an waited. Aprox. 3,5 weeks later my envelope came back, cut open and watch was gone. My shipment never made it to the collector.
I don't want to blame this on collector; this is not his fault nor is it mine. Just wanted to share!
[censored] like this happens sometimes I guess.

Hi Capice,
Just reading this topic. Very sorry to hear about your loss.
My thoughts go out to you and your family.
Marc.
Veel sterkte de komende tijd!!

I have this one in SS. On this one the dail is black not carbon.
The movement is Asia 7750.
Does the orange one have carbon dial? Looking from the pictures on dealer's sites I don't see the carbon dial for the orange version. I like the yellow one better but want a carbon dial also so I'm still on the fence. -
I need one too.....

You can try Precious Time he can order the same watches as our collectors from China.
The only thing is, he needs time to order your watch when its not in stock. But it saves you cutoms troubles.

The Ulysse Nardin, Oris, Jaeger le Coultre and IWC brochures arrived for me! I've got to say, the IWC is especially nice!
Then try Lange & S

Wall-E looks a bit like Johny 5 from Short Circuit. A movie from the '80s i guess.

The other collectors: Josh, Andrew, Puretime have them also.

Haha, ad another dutchie to that list....

The description apears to be 'copied' from PC or trustytime.
Just wanted to warn people to not pay 'to much' for a rep watch.

I have the gen SOSF, white dail. Still liking it after almost a year.........
I'm not the only one that broke out the Steelfish recently I see. Took the girlfriend out for a nice dinner and had the strong desire to wear it. The steelfish hits me weird like that. Its now sitting on my kitchen counter just like this, as I swapped it off this morning.
...back to what seems to be occupying ALL of my wrist time since arrival (Besides that mother of a burn scar)

Hi welcome,
For serious sellers take a look at the watch collectors section.
If you don't want any problems with customs, look for EU based collectors.
+ the search button is your friend.

Just paid for a U-Boat Flightdeck from PT.
New watches - Welder + stories from St Maarten

Welder is from Italo Fontana; the same designer or factory as U-Boat.
In the Netherlands they are priced from 375,- to around 600,- euros.
