Dude:
Pam Anderson = Automatic
Jennifer Garner = quartz
I think you have these two backwards, should be: Jennifer Garner = Automatic
Pam Anderson = silicon, err..quartz

Lets not even get started about the way the Chinese treat their animals!

I am also of the belief that there are limits to our purpose in the middle east.....zealous men are ever showing you the strength of their belief, while judicious men are showing you their grounds of it.

I think that the fact that Blockbuster no longer buys HD-DVD's , and will only carry the Blu-ray discs pretty much trumps any advantages that HD-DVD's had. Just as Beta max lost out to VHS, the public really has already spoken by renting Blu-ray discs at Blockbuster by a 6 to 1 margin I think I read........so it's all over, cept for the fat lady singing....in HD of course...

If you allow me to follow the "new" logic.....let's see........add up the two college aged kids, carry the years spent worrying about them......subtract the expense.......hah!.....I'm only the new 31!

As far as pointing out one persons faults on a forum such as this out in the open......well, thats in poor taste as I see it, as well as lacking in class. It is, however, apparent that there is a general feeling that this forum is losing its....uh,...personality....I guess. If thats the case then....how about everyone adding to the forum more and not less? That alone would give others more to read and the opportunity to skip over what they consider "lesser" topics and frivolity.

Wow! DET11, that photo is amazing! Let me make it my desktop wallpaper.
UPDATE: Heh. Your fingers are 20" big. Hope that was okay, though. I realised you didn't release it as wallpaper, so just say the word, and I'll take it down!
No problem Vic, thanks for the comment.....No photoshop or anything...straight up pic in my backyard...you know what they say about large hands......hehe
or is that feet?

Yeah, but that's total [censored]. :-)
Thank you for the enlightenment Pug

I had heard recently that the colloquial for "wrist timepiece" came from the fact that Vacheron Constantine developed one of the first wrist worn clocks, became the most popular make and thus ........Vach=watch became the interchangable word for it.

Has anyone an opinion on this rep? How accurate is it? It looks pretty close on Josh's site except the black face with the white subdials seems to only come with a rubber strap, at least thats the way it is shown on the baume mercier website. Anyone?

So, Ms. Barrett is also a film critic.......where else can she surprise us?......My pick for one of the best "good idea" movies this year....Kevin Costner in "Mr. Brooks"....creepy, and scarily one of the best portrayals of a so called normal person with a not so normal "hobby".......couple of nice watches in that one to boot.

Unfortunately, it is a rare occurrence that someone says something about the watches we wear. However, isn't it a great feeling when one does!....the rarity of it somehow makes it that much sweeter doesn't it?

These watches remind me of an old western movie quote....." There are only two things more beautiful than a gun....a swiss watch and a woman, from anywhere."
hehe.....all in one.

Ok, but keep a fire estinguisher and a flotatation device in your car!....hehe

I have recently become very interested in underwater watches. Here's something you don't know about me. I don't know how to swim. I'm the only one in my family, on both sides, that doesn't (there is a private reason for that)
Really Vic, you should reconsider swimming lessons. If only but for safety reasons. Here in Michigan, people all the time are running themselves over bridges or into side road streams and rivers, and without the aid of a centerpunch, (to break the glass on your door window) and swimming skills, they most certainly would not survive these mishaps. With your penchant for water, and living near it,and for your sake and the sake of your friends here on RWG, have no fear, and get yourself some lessons!

Maybe that personal trait that caused the Shah to say "Look at my fancy stuff!" was a part of the Shah's downfall.
Perhaps you're on to something there Bob, one who likes to make sure all see the "bling" tends to make others less likely to feel "one" with them......and isn't that what we all want?....just to get along and be "one"?......hehe

Best "out of the box" for me, is the blue faced Aqua Terra and the Railmaster XL, both great, but not "exact" reps...........would fool almost anyone on your wrist.....everyone except true horologists off the wrist............

Seems to be more and more common lately that the watches we get aren't even close to water resistant......best to make sure back is siliconed and tight as soon an you get it, before wearing the first time.
