So, finally got a chance to go to the post office to pick up my parcel. First impression is that it quite a nice piece! Definitely happy with this, and encourages me to add to my collection with more! It came with a black strap that i'm not too keen on (factory did not have SS bracelet in stock and Andrew and I worked something out to get the bracelet when it's available) so i switched it out with a Hirsch leather strap that i had. Some quick pics:

Johnnyboy. What thickness spring bars do you use? The 2mm and 1.8mm spring bars don't allow for the NATO to fit
I use the NATOs mostly on my Tag F1 and the spring bars are 1.8mm - it's a little tight but they fit through.

i love the look of the B01, but think it may show big on my itty bitty wrists…

So I've decided to pull the trigger on my first rep and decided on a graphite BCE from Trusty. I know there are "newer" reps ie. the b01 , but I really like the styling of the BCE. Pics to come!

what would you tell rolex if it needed servicing after that?

how do you find the deployment feels with the strap?

looks great, nice pics!

very nice, considering one of these as a first purchase too!

that looks incredible…definitely a classic!

I tend to wear mine snug - makes it easier to slide my cuff over it .

i've bought from cheapnatostraps - quick easy transaction - they are thin..but for the price not a bad deal in my opinion.

I agree, you can never go wrong with a speedy in your box.
-
what movement did you end of getting?

Agree with the above comment. I bought a 6 month old 2500D full kit ( box, manual, 3 cards) on a bracelet for just under 3000 and i've been looking for a while.

Just coming from a noob perspective and although i do not have any reps in my collection yet, I see great value in being able to get some wrist time with something to be able to make a better informed decision on a potentially decent investment in a gen

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I only recently caught the watch bug - but it's been something of a lifelong interest as I remember wanting to always where my dads Rado as a kid. As of late, since I now have the means to I've been picking up pieces here and there to start up a little collection. So far I only have the following gens: Tag F1, Breitling Aerospace, Tissot Courturier chrono, and an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. I came across these boards as I was looking for alternatives for using my PO as a daily wearer and was intrigued by how good some of these reps are. I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet, but Ive been researching to see what direction i want to go.
