I'll try to take some this afternoon. Watch is over 10 mins slow this morning.......

Unfortunately it is not... The band is not very flexible. It is stuck in a strange position from shipping and is not curving to my wrist very well. So it's sticking straight up and down on the wrist like that. It's looks ok but it is junk. The movement has settled down a little and is doing well for now. My last two watches have been a PAM 233 gen and then traded for a IWC Big Pilot. I am used to seeing those watches on my wrist. This one holds up to those easily in finish. and yea I am back to my 176g and reps for a while

The watch itself is fantastic. Super rep material. Excellent date wheel, gen like finish and nice dial. The strap is a turd covered in plastic and the movement in mine has issues right now but they might be clearing up. I will give it a few days before returning it.

Arent these watches supposed to have a brushed satin finish on the sides of the watch?

Nice looking watch and strap. What is the fascination with taking nice things and dressing them up in the poster style that is only sold at trashiest of white trash shopping malls and airline catalogs? I have never got that. Sorry had to vent

I see so many great quality aftermarket straps for the BP but with ugly rivets. The IWC gen ones are elegant and simple and look fantastic. Anyone know where to source them or ones like it? Chad

Why is everyone now justifying what he did? I know people are happy to get there stuff back but you are still left with a situation where a very trusted member here betrayed the entire community without cause or communication. Hopefully he will be dealt with accordingly.

huh? Would anyone here actually send the guy a watch again? I could not have picked a better time to take a break from reps. This is sad. I sensed a level of this in the past from him. I also have the same feeling about another person who offers services to the community.(no not chief or The Zigmeister...haha) It comes with the territory. While the community is rich and mostly honest as joshua told me something during my first rep order which i will not forget. This was before I joined any of the boards. It was a 036 but I had ordered a 118. (still have it) I was annoyed he sent the wrong watch and this was before his cartel like days and I was a newbie. He said... "you are dealing in illegal items, what do you expect?" I never forgot that in all my days here.

It is suspect to me because of the 1. brushed case (but did they make a rep of it w. that.....who knows?) 2. he did not mention the cash he would have had to fork out for the bracelet.

A friend says this watch is a gen and I want to believe him but it seems fishy. I know it is a bad pic but.... I noticed the case is brushed and I know that is not correct but I would be shocked if he was not telling the truth. What do you think of this really bad pic?

Jakub was always cool to me but I will say that from day one there was always a low level sketchiness in his demeanor. I do not think he ran off with the watches and sold them but I think the success and money got the better of him and he is in some kind of trouble. I love the community here but lately I have found this in many dealings here and it has reminded me of what we are doing here and I am not feeling all that great about it.

everyone who keeps saying jakub is not the kinda guy who would do this......I was friends with him also. well he did.......and he is. Someone needs to visit him in person and get everyone's goods back and then ban him forever. There is no excuse for this.

I emailed this guy and he said he is not using photos of the watch because he is so busy and was a jerk. He is selling a J series but has posted pics of a G or earlier sausage.
