Would Love to see how this project turns out! Great set of parts!
-
Hol-eeee sh*t what an awesome build you got going!
-
-
Would that be a lowbeat ETA?
Lovely watch mate.
-
Blurry pics and the business end of the dial is covered by hand.
Yeah, fishy. It is out on eBay btw, think it is at 500€ right now. Just search for Tudor 7016, if anyones interested.
-
Does the Noob V3 have engraved serial number in between the lugs?
Does the gen have engraved serial number in between the lugs?
-
Also, do you guys think this is gen?
Blurry pics, i know, sorry about that.
-
WOWZA congrats! Awesome 6538.

Jose, this is exactly why this place exists ... to share knowledge about watches.
Do some reading here and you'll figure out what we spotted when we said it's not a genuine piece. There are lots of Tudor threads where we discuss each of those details ad nauseum.
Here is my attempt at a 7016, it's still far from perfect and it took over 2 years to put together.
Gonna bump this because I am on the same topic. Is a ETA 2483 that is in a gen 7016 interchangeable with an ETA 2452? Thats what I figured from reading on Jules Borel at least. But would be nice with some kind of confirmation.

The dial I think is of less importance since it is obvious that its a redial. Bezel insert doesnt seem as good as the One your selling?I don't think it's a good franken. The movement is worth money, and I do like that case. But the rest can be much better and more accurate.
$4 to $5 thousand usd? I'd rather have a genuine 1675 - 16710 for about the same money.
And being frugal (cheap!), I love my homemade replica!
Bracelet probably isnt gen, the coronet is giving me bad vibes..
Is case/bezel assy phong you guys think?
-
So, how good is this franken, and what is its value?
-
It's a scam and not a 7753 or swiss. It's a A7750. Run.
At best!
-
I have the exact same philosophy as you. I could never wear a rep of a watch which gen is worth more than 9-10k $. Thats my limit.
-
What I've understood is: For franken builds, go with V1.
For regular, OTB-wear or slight mods, the v6 or v6.5 is best.
-
hey dude, is there way i could do the same itinerary as you did? advice me where to buy (supplier) and who i do check with to do the mods, eventually where to source the gen parts.
cheers ..... by the way, why buy an over 35000$ watch when you can such a beauty for a fraction of the price?
Domi does the mods, he has 12 weeks waiting time... Parts I have no idea.

RWI is a joke, they take themselves way too seriously over there. I like RWG better because we have a higher roof.
Anyone who wants your business(which is awesome) might as well contact you here on RWG.

Or look at it white it fades! HahaI think I have to buy 10 gen inserts and try to get this type of shade
You could probably sell it at VRM afterwards with a decent hour pay, provided that you buy the insert relativly cheap in the first place! Haha
-
UV light is prob the way to go!
-
A pocket watch 1016 would be pretty boss.I'm making a keychain.
-
Do you think the models you buy right now will increase value over time?
BIG NOPE! The red black bay has dropped in value by at least 35-ish % since bought new soo... i wouldn't count on it.
can be had for 1750-1800€ from italian dealers. and new price is about a thousand euro more...
-
Wow! Looks lovely, what are the specs?
-
My new-new ; very franken 1680, looking for 580s ...
