  1. The movement in this watch is an asian 2688 not 2671. I bought this watch from Toro last week thinking it had a 2671, but when my watchmaker opened it he could tell straight away that it wasn't a 2671. The movement holder was too large and date wheel did not line up with window on dial when I tried to install a gen calibre 077. I am now forced to buy the $500 version from puretime with a 2671 to complete my franken project. It states on Toro's site that this has a 2688, but for some reason it was stuck in my head that it was a 2671 after reading this review.

    Does the one Saeed offers have the better movement? Where's the best place to get the one reviewed from?

  2. I bought the ProHunter Submariner in 2012 after checking around and seeing loads of positive reviews for it and Watcharoo itself. Needless to say it was a risk, however not a considerably large amount of money (at least compared to other reps on here!)

    I checked around on here after finding this forum, comparing the quality of the sub I bought against others on here. For the price I paid I would say it holds up really well; the movement although it's Asian is holding up better than a Gen I bought recently with an ETA movement. The rehaut, the lume, indices, cyclops and every other 'tell' is hard to tell if it is actually a fake.

    I wore the watch as a beater for the best part of two years, it's extremely durable and has been worn well, for a rep it is extremely well built.

    I also bought a Milgauss GV from Watcharoo, again before finding this forum, I've only worn it once or twice (it requires repolishing) and is an extremely nice watch, again with very small difference from the watches on here.

    I'll be selling them soon to pay for a new rep from one of the TD's however I wanted to share this experience with Watcharoo.

    Here's the pictures because I don't know how to upload or embed the pictures;

  3. You also might want to try this:

    The B01 is a good rep, but not a 1:1 rep due to the sunken datewheel issue. I don't believe the A7753 was ever fitted to it (which would have cured the issue).

    If you are in the UK, I would go with Saed. He can ship from the UK.

    Who is Saed and how do I contact him?

  4. Preferably the highest quality available, I don't know much about replicas or where to purchase them from (specifically in the UK). However I really like the Chronomat B01, and would like a replica until I can afford the real thing. If anyone is interested in selling theirs, or can direct me to a 1:1 version I would appreciate it.
