  1. As others here and indeed all over the watch forums have said (and I am typing this slowly so that you can understand me!!!  CONTACT A MODERATOR, it only gets everyone annoyed when you air this in public.

Handle it correctly and you will receive the watch. Scream and throw fits and you will not make any friends, friends that can solve your problem.

Puretime have far better things to do than rip off one person!!

  2. Post resurrection time,

I just made a second attempt at open heart surgery on my most beloved rep, my grey Skyland Avenger V2 to replace the reversing wheel as it had all the symptoms noted here on both winding and lack of power reserve. Thanks to Hazz37 I picked up a reversing wheel from an old scrap movement and swapped it in using the Rodico as a mount guide and protection for the chrono clutch, a second piece was used to hold the hammer in place.

I say Rodico, but in truth I actually used Blutack which was spot on left no residue and was pliable enough without being hard.

The bridge slipped back into place and as I gently screwed it down I made sure the hammer was seated and the chrono's were zero'd and that the watch both ran and would wind, then nipped up the auto-bridge fixing screws re-attached the rotor and finally know that the auto wind is functioning once again!

  3. Today I was in town with my wife and daughter for a wonderful Christmas show lunch and a trip to see the lights, well as the two of the wandered into another little boutique, I told them "Back in five,,,, get you here shortly"

I then strode across to the "Omega"  AD store a few shops along in the "jewellery" district, and after looking slipped off my 300 Master Co- and went in.

Naturally I was accosted on the spot by a very officious gent in a dark suit, and I just launched into my well rehearsed (over the last ten seconds) speech,,,,,,  So,,,,,,,,, can you tell me when the 300 Master Coaxial is gong on sale,,,,,

Well sir,,,, we have sold three already though not officially launched yet, it does go on sale in January, but, we have a blue /Titanium would you care to try it?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Uh ohhhh Houston we have a problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I feigned protest no,,,, don't want to waste your time etc etc but he did say it was no bother and would I like him to go get it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,HELL YES!!!!!

And so I put it on and what a stunning piece the replica is!!!!!!!

Yes boys & girls, the rep is truly indistinguishable for gen, OK I was looking at titanium but the bezel is perfection, the dial simply cannot be exposed as flawed, the clasp, everything.  I would say the movement is a massive let down, but as I never take it off for people, if I could, I would order one.

Catch this one, the pearl on the bezel, looks to have the same degree of misalignment as my rep?????? How can this be,,,, I mean it was the slightest fraction off I know this as mine the the same fraction off!!!! Is it a case the pearl is set to look spot on when you view it from a slight angle on the wrist as mine aligns 100% that way,,, Whats the score?

Final thing I said thank you but no,,, I would want the S/S one, he told me I can pay a deposit for one but they are strictly limited and it would be available around June 2015,,,,,

I was in pure heaven guys, I want this one I truly do but the rep is beyond normal expectations. Thankfully my wallet has made my decision for me :bangin:

  4. You won't get a Breitling with a display back as Breitling don't make one, try a Tag Aquaracer calibre ceramic 16 chrono for that however Tag don't do PVD

I have a stainless steel Super on a pearl white dial utterly awesome watch totally indistinguishable from gen

  5. Beyond excited to get mine... it's on the slow-boat from China apparently haha

I have had so many watches in the past year bought, sold traded, from a Super Avenger to an A Lange & Sohne I have kept only a few (mainly on funds reasons to let me try more) however,,,,  Of all teh watches all the styles this watch just feels incredible, if you have worn a Super Avenger and had the drama of people staring at it, wait till they get a load of this, this watch should be in the next Bond movie it is beyond normal superlatives truly simply gorgeous!

  6. The bracelet is a bit tricky to get off. Most springbar tools are a bit too wide to go the slots of the end links.

I used a very small screwdriver and used it like a lever to push the shoulders of the springbars inward while pushing on the bracelet from the back.

First only one springbar comes out. you have to maintain the pressure on the bracelet while working on the second one.

    Hope this helps.

It's not all that hard - I did it at the airport :)

On mine the spring bar tool fits and it rfeleases fine but the lugs are in tighter than a duck's,,,, err,,, bottom! ;)

  7. Good to hear Derrick mine woulda been here yesterday but for address issues on label - sorted now - redirecting on Tuesday :( I'll Have to enjoy your pics for now. :) I'm hoping my spring bars don't give me the grief you got as I'm planning in putting on a donerix leather once it's made:)

Heh heh it is well worth the wait I am truly in love with this one.  I still use the GMT as my work beater but for important meetings and such this is the go-to choice, the Breitlings will be the Summer chill workwear for now.

  8. Looks excellent! A truly stunning piece! What's your wrist size?

    I have about a 7 1/4" wrist.

Update too, I simply could not disengage the lugs from bracelet, so, head wrapped in two very tight pieces of clingfilm, gentle spray vertically onto the two lengths of bracelet  work it in, wash it off and what a transformation silent and very silky.

I have always had a bit of a "thing" with Omega I bought the sold very quickly a CrPO,,, I wanted to fall in love with the brand and finally have the watch that does that!

  9. Well here it is!

I was unable to release the lugs to bathe the bracelet in WD40 as such it feels dry and not at all Omega-like but this will be done today I hope!

So tell me what you think

The omega is simply stunning to look at the movement is almost flawlessly replicated, the case is perfect only the tiniest of bezel alignment issues that I will resolve myself and as this is one of the true "keepers" I will not have to worry about selling it etc etc but then again 99.9% of people wouldn't notice but my anal retentive nature cant fail to see it.

I plan to log off and try to get the bracelet off and lub'ed
