ok, so what happens when you receive two payments for one item? i know that you can refund through paypal but don't they take a percentage of every transaction ... whether it is a refund or not? please correct me if i am wrong. but if so, who gets the short end of the stick? it shouldn't be the buyer.

@ finepics, i totally understand what you are saying. but, in the seller's defence ... it is hard to wait sometimes when you have multiple people interested. i have had items for sale and received instant pm's saying that they would buy the item. days go by and no payment ... what do you do then. you have already brushed off potential buyers and you end up stuck with the item. in your case, it's a tough call because you are well known around rwg and your word means something. the bottom line is, whoever pays first deserves the item. thanks for letting me play devils advocate.

i'd like to see that receipt! the only explanation is that you got a used watch (which i don't think they sell) or like you said, it was an error. if so ... good buy. that's almost $2000 off the retail price. anyway, i'm not trying to make any enemies here ... just sounds too good to be true! all the best.

i have to call [censored] on this one! the 183h retailed for $4,300.00 in 2005. john bull discounts their panerai's by 10% so the best price you could have got that watch for is $3,870.00. you are saying that you got this watch for 40% off ... c'mon?. in fact they have one right now in stock for $3,915.00. nice try.

hi guys, there is not much in nassau for reps. one place that used to carry them has stopped. the last time i was in and asked about them, they said they were going to stop selling the rep watches but they still had a few. the lady brought me out 4 rolex reps from the back. i really don't know what to look for in rolex so i wasn't interested and it didn't sound like much of a deal ... $100 each or something? anyway feel free to ask again. the name of the place is athena. it is actually a very good greek cafe upstairs and they have a shop downstairs with jewellery and handbags etc. you will also find maybe one or two other shops that carry reps but you really have to look for them. sometimes they have them and sometimes they don't. now if you are looking for rep handbags ... that is a different story! i can't guarantee how good the quality will be but they have all of the big names including louis vuitton, gucci, prada, coach, kate spade etc. if you want to try on some nice genuine watches, go to john bull. there is one right downtown as well as atlantis. they carry pretty much everything including panerai. don't feel bad about wearing your panerai reps in either ... the people are clueless. also, if by chance you are interested in buying a genuine. this is the place! there is no duty on watches therefor the prices are much better here than anywhere else. please feel free to pm me if you have any further questions or concerns. take care and have a great trip.

when you call, just ask them if they work on reps? if not, move on to the next shop. better to do it over the phone than face to face. that's when you get in trouble!

just for kicks, i took apart one of my cheapest reps and ruined it. i won't make that mistake again. feel free to give it a try but believe me ... unless you have skillz, there is no reason to even attempt it!

no, there is some all brushed models ... pam's 069, 070, 119 and 120 i believe. i do want to add that the brushed models, whether it is titanium or steel definetely show less wear and tear compared to polished models!

personally, not a big fan of the pam subs. by the looks of it, the rep numbers seem thicker. here is a few shots of a genuine ...
