After a cheap one, am based in UK. Black dial i think and black subdials and stainless strap. Any dealer recommendations and ideally a link? Seen for $129 " bestrepwatch.co but unsure if a trusted dealer.

My mushroom / stud has come off my bracelet - the bit that when you close the bracelet goes into the hole where the spring is on the clasp to close the watch. Anyone any suggestions as to the way forward? can you buy just that small bit of the bracelet (its about two cm long) that has the stud on it? - it appears to have pins either end do if i can get a new one with the stud on it can i just replace it???

ok fair enough i'll subscribe for a small number of months tho- i won't be on here for months again after but don't mind paying each time the site helps me out. i think that's only fair. Do you have a big and a half link lanikai and the bars needed by any chance?? it looks like i'm missing the link that goes through the three legs on the clasp as well...bloody ex missus lost the bag with these bits in and i so want to wear the watch again!!! thanks for any help !!

ah fair enough. the only reason i haven't supported the forum is because i'm rarely here. This is the first time in months i've logged in. How much is it???

would chief's a/r make my upo dial look blacker?
SPARKYMARKY replied to SPARKYMARKY's topic in The Omega Area
right thats it just need you do a run now chief...... -
I'm very happy with my UPO. One thing i would like though is the dial to look blacker when outside in the light, as it looks distinctly dark grey instead of black. indoors it looks very dark with a very very slight blue tint when viewed from a side slanted angle. would chiefs double AR make my dial look darker when outside by cutting out reflections or will it still look dark grey?

Think that's the last time i take my phone to the toilet with me....lol. btw, compared the omega with a breitling navitimer side by side and it is a fair bit bigger than that so i think it must be the 45mm version. -

right some pics. only have a camera phone so these are the best i can get- closeups just fuzz out. i think the watch looks bigger in the pics than in real life- the watch just doesnt feel that big to me like others say it is. click on the pics, then again until you get the magnifying glass and they should be a bit bigger then...hopefully -

ok well if i turn the watch over and put the tape measure just under the crown/winder so that its measuring the case completely from one end to the other without the crown/winder then its 45mm. i was wondering though whether its just the bezel thats supposed to 45mm????? obviously this is a bit smaller than the whole case ? ahhh the bezel seems to measure 43mm ishh -
ordered a 45mm upo recently. got the watch looks great. but it doesnt look as big as i expected. i know the 45mm version is suposed to have a 22m wide bracelet which mine has. but which part do you measue for the 45mm? turning the watch over and measuring the entire width including the winder and its about 46mm????
-
just this second order a upo...couldnt decide on which colour!
SPARKYMARKY replied to SPARKYMARKY's topic in The Omega Area
well i just changed my order to white numbers! the pic i was using as a reference for the orange number version was i think an overexposed shot on rwi groupthread for the upo. it made the orange look really bright orange but every other pic i've since seen shows the orange to be duller than i first thought. kindly, d4m on rwi changed my order to white numbers- great chap! -

received pam 111h today, some pics inside
SPARKYMARKY replied to SPARKYMARKY's topic in The Panerai Area
not sure if its against the rules or not but it was Deltick (trc). great service. -
Just received a my first Panerai today. A 111h. Thought i'd post a few pics i took with my mobile whilst waiting for my girlfriend to sort her horses at the farm, so they're literally just point and shoot photos and not great. Couldn't be happier with it. Ok the strap is dodgy and will replace it immediately but for the price it looks great. I know there are probably lots of flaws and innacuracies but I only wanted a cheap watch and this cost hardly anything from a well known dealer on here, i couldn't ask for more. Just hope it lasts.
