  1. The FG model is the one to get. The only difference from the gen is the letter color on the dial. Aside from the usual rep faults such as crown guards, crown, etc. There's no full blown review I'm aware of but the watch has been discussed in several threads.
  2. He just lost his ear. The rest of us will be King Hussein's and Queen Pelosa's butt buddies.
  3. Bank of America took out a full page ad, color, in today's local paper. Here's part of it: "In the fourth quarter alone, we extended more than $115 billion in new credit. We began a 10-year, $1.5 trillion investment in low-to-moderate income and minority communities--the largest initiative of its kind in America. We are also investing $20 billion in environmental initiatives to encourage sustainable business practices over the next decade." I don't think they've learned anything.
  4. I think so. I've never cracked a crystal and I always wear a watch to the gym. She busted the mineral crystal on her favorite DJ walking around in the house.
  5. Nice! Here's an old photo of my wife's collection. I think one of these has stopped running since the picture was taken.
  6. Honestly, kind of cheap looking. I don't care much for tourbies on sport watches. Your first rep? Here is one of my first: I thought it was great. Now that I know better, I see all the faults.
  7. I switched to flickr.com. $25 a year and they don't downgrade your images.
  8. BK buys unassembled watches from George/WM9 and assembles them here in the U.S. His attention to QC and iron clad after-sale service set him apart from WM9 and, frankly, all other dealers. But you have to be patient. Unless you get one second hand it usually takes months to get a BK watch.
  9. Hmmm.... Can't get my PM to go through to The Zigmeister and Watchworks says they have a 3-8 weeks minimum turnaround...
  10. I do prefer the maxi dial. Easier to tell the time for these old eyes. Other than that, it's lost any connection it had to being a "tool" watch.
  11. Good post! I have a crummy old gold tone Invicta I can't let go of (if I could even find a buyer for it ) because of the memories I made while wearing that watch!
  12. Answered this on RWI, too. It sounds like you have a 21J movement in your watch and that subdial allows you to keep track of the month.
  13. "Crazy Sale III" "Certain models are on razy sale every day!!!" http://www.asian7750.com/cn/index.asp
  14. I move that Noel has his nobby and hairy wrist surgically improved before he posts any additional wrist shots. Any seconds?
  15. I sold it to a guy who said he used to have the gen. He sent payment with a note written on AP letterhead.
  16. My understanding is the 7750 winds clockwise. The angle of the winder is important to a 7750. The watch crystal needs to be at about a 90 degree angle to the floor. Try placing the winder on a towel or pillow so the watch crystal is perpendicular to the floor and see if it stays wound that way.
  17. So far I've owned a SOSF, Exp II, DJ, and a PAM Daylight in white. I find that I love looking at them on the screen but hardly ever choose to wear them. I'd put them on, then take them off. So I sold them all. But even now, after going through 4 or 5 of them, I still have a couple in my shopping cart at Perfect Clones. I've kept one Daytona, but it has a silver dial--not quite white.
  18. Hopefully it will quell the voices in your head, too! Welcome!
  19. Looks good to me! Hopefully I'll get mine next week. No need for macro shots, though. You've taken care of that!
