  2. Ok, as some of you may have noticed, i NEVER write any posts regarding my expertise on watches, as i have none! However, i do ask stupid, random, pointless questions. Here is the newest addition! Whos the oldest geezer on here? Come on, dont be shy, i weigh in at a whopping 21 years of age! Top that sirs! Moi
  3. NOW, time for my next question. As previously mentioned, i own a Jacob & Co watch, with a polyurethane strap... now there is a small tear on the strap, near the case of the watch. Is there like a special glue i can use to seal the tear up? It really is a small tear, but none the less i would like to repair it before i send the watch out. Thanks! Moi
  4. Great! Thank you Andy! Now i have never taken a rep watch to a watchsmoth before for a battery change, am i likely to run into any troubles? NOW, time for my next question. It has a polyurethane strap on it, now there is a small tear on the strap, near the case of the watch. Is there like a special glue i can use to seal the tear up? It really is a small tear, but none the less i would like to repair it before i send the watch out. Thanks! Moi
  5. Hi All, I have a bit of a problem with one of my watches, which last week i just sold! I own a blingy Jacob & Co watch, which i have outgrown (taste wise) and i have now sold it on. As i haven't used this watch in a very long time i sold it without looking at it, stupidly assuming everything was working fine on it. I now have noticed that the seconds hand marker is ticking irregulary. It is ticking every two seconds, but every two seconds it makes tow RAPID ticks. Example: TickTick(pause two seconds)TickTick(pause two seconds) and so on. So it does keep the correct time, but the way it has decided to do so is slightly odd! I need to have this fixed rapido, as i now have an obligation to fulfill to the buyer of this watch, and do not want to let them down. Any help in this matter will be much appreciated! Thanks! Moi
  6. Its not a secret. URL is saved on my home computer... right now i am not there! When i get home i will post it up. Moi
  7. Yes but if the site has been passed onto me by Andrew... Would it be generally agreed that it is a trusted site...? I think so! Moi
  8. King still has Hublots on her site. Is this an error? Thought they weren't around anymore? Please advise as i am looking to buy two! Moi.

  11. Hey All, Well the information wizard has been working over time on this one. I have seemed to have been blessed this time! A website that sells Ceramic HBB's for about $800 and they are a trustworthy company, according to a trusted dealer on these boards who accidentaly let it slip in a convo i was having with him/her/it BAD POINTS: Website is in Japanese and i cant figure it out. I want to message them to find out if they have them in stock and so on. Anyone want to help me find out? Anyone read japanese? Babelfish doesn't work too well with this site BTW... Write back! Moi
  12. Can someone PM me King's URL address? Lost it when my comp died! Thanks! Moi
  13. Ok, so my next question... What is the difference in the Speedy reduced models as to the "normal" ones?
  14. Dear Freeman, Well i shall certainly bear it in mind! First i need to find out how much it costs brand new etc etc blah blah. And also what my friend paid for it and what he is willing to let it go for! Moi
  15. Hmmm... That does seem like a worthwhile investment!
  16. Well i still need to find out the correct price for all of these bad boys to sell them off 2nd hand. If anyone could help me out, that would be great. PM me if you wish Moi. I really had no idea this Zenith was so popular! Anyone interested in hear for it?
  17. Ken, 100% sure. I have seen his collection in the flesh. Very respectable bloke, wife, kids, nice car and house, good job and very rich mother also!
  18. How much does this Zenith go for usually, like brand new? I know for a fact that this watch is in MINT condition. And i will have it in my hands in a week and a half.
  19. I have recently been in contact with a guy who is an avid watch collector. Over the past three months he has bought from me a variety of watches for himself, his wife and mother. He has quite a few gens, and is wanting to sell three of them. He has left it up to me to sell them on his behalf; and with the money earned from the sale of these three watches he will re-invest it into more rep watches and bags from me! Result! He is a complete watch newbie, doesn't even know the models of the watches he wants to sell. He has sent me pictures of the three watches he wants me to sell for him. I was wondering if the more experienced watch afficionados could help me find out the make and specs of the watches? If anyone could help me with this, and if i am successful in even selling one watch i will gladly make a sizeable donation to keep this great forum up and running. Also, it would help me re-get my annual membership for here again - huge Uni debt has been a bit of a struggle of late! :S Thanks in advance! Moi OBVIOUSLY i will be taking the watches off him, cleaning them and taking loooovely pics of them, (with my Pug tutorial ) and then selling them without his dodgy pics!
  20. My friend is considering buying one of PureTime's Patek Philippe rings. However we can't figure out how to measure his finger to get the right size! When we originally tried measuring his finger it was apparently 7cm(ish) going around. However the largest size PT offers in this ring is 60mm, doesn't add up! Friend's finger is not big at all, he has small hands even! Please help! Ta, Moi BTW please give as a "fool proof method. As we are really stupid i am afraid!)
  21. Dear All, Well the last two months have been some of the most interesting i have experienced in recent years... 1. Dumped by long term GF 2. Got rushed to hospital with fatal disease 3. Saw a man die in front of me 4. Had my favorite watch stolen!!!! Despite it all, i am still alive (just), mentally, emotionally and physically. You hear the big man! Jaymoi isn't giving up just yet! Oh, and the worst thing... some of you may know i spend some time researching replicas on the internet, replica ANYTHING. I make it my mission to find the BEST there is, and if i don't buy it or sell it i just like knowing that i know where to get it! Then my computer had to die... along with ALL the data on it. So despite another kick in the balls i must re-build my masterpiece, and actually save it somewhere other than on "my favorites" section of IE! It would be a massive help if one of you guys could PM me the URL's of ALL of the RWG dealers, along with any passwords they have set on them, etc. Thanks a lot! Moi
