  1. Re: the accuracy of this watch, I compared it to the real deal. Mine does NOT have the blue screws and it is so close to the real deal I couldn't find any flaws. I know there must be some, but my "lying eyes" couldn't find them. And the bezel is notched. The only problem with mine is it came with the white strap attached and I want to change to the black strap. but there is no tool yet to change straps. Joshua tells me it will be available next month. Until then I will have to be satisfied with the white strap......which is a little to feminine for me. I'm a jeans kinda guy.

...........But the watch is one of the best out of the box reps yet. A $20,000 watch for $400+.

ok just wondering which dealer did u get your version from? the one without the blue screws?

    thanks

  2. You will not be dissapointed with the Dewitt, and more so if it comes with the softer rubber strap.I have the harder rubber strap and it is getting a little softer/supple the more i wear it.Problem is i cant take this dam porsche one off.Looks like i'll have to ware two watches.

P.S my Dewitt does not have blue screws in the movement!! and the double AR is the best ive seen yet! The sapphire is pure flat like the gen and not convexed or concaved.

hi just wondering which dealer you got your Dewitt from without the blue screws. also could you take some pics please

    thanks :)

  3. The question asked was not directed towards you, i was merely asking dvn and taking his opinion the same. As for the strap of the watch i just had a word with King and he informed that he would be getting a new strap on the watch after the chinese new year...

what did he say would be the difference? so i guess you are waiting for this version then>?

  4. I think both cases are exactly the same, it is just a matter of photographing angles.

The only difference is the heart, Asian 7750 and ETA7753. If you are willing to pay 2.5x more, then go for the ETA version.

when u say the heart you mean the back of the movement right? because there is a big difference between the 7750 and the 7753 model.

  5. Just saw this watch the King's website

    DEWITT-005-NEW-titanium

    SWISS 7753 -LIMITED EDITION

Any idea on how accurate is the rep..

How does it compare to the gen? how accurate is the caseback?

    Thanks,

    iD

yes the gen also uses a 7753 movement and this caseback is far more accurate than the regular one being one sold. I am considering purchasing this one as well, but its a bit pricey. The only thing that is slightly inaccurate is said to be the font of the word chronograph altho i have seen the gen in person and i cant really see the big difference.

  6. Great review and pictures. At last something that's most exciting than the Sub/APROO/HBB..........

The watch looks of excellent build quality almost second to none. Despite some flaws still obvious on the dial/subdial, but seems of no big issues, afterall how many gen. Dewitt you will ever encounter on the street anyway.

Interesting to see the caseback screws are of some kind of special design, wonder how to remove the back to take out the movement.

100% on my list for the next collection.

hi just wondering what obvious flaws in the dial that you are talking about?

    thanks
