Thanks for the info! I noticed a slight about of "dust" on the inside of the case back once removed, i think the click was fine, or are you referring to spring around the click?

I'm pretty sure that my mainspring broke yesterday. I was winding and heard a unusual click, now it doesn't stop when I wind it and I hear a click after every 8 turns of the crown. Can the mainspring just be replaced or should the whole barrel? Does the whole movement need to be disassembled and through maintenance performed?? Thanks

What did you do about the date window on the gen dial, I just recently picked up a black gen dial (huge difference) but the date window is completely off from the 2836...

The gen is not that sharp, use some fine sandpaper and round the corners slightly, take a close look at some pictures of the gen.
