i think you're right.
chamfering/countersink e.g. with a 6mm driller to make it closer to be a gen,
is an optical illusion.
-
an absolute "must to do" for the mbk vintages is ...
drill the right size of lugholes, they are absolute wrong.
all too small :-(
change also:
springbars
endlinks
anybody who has a little knowledge about that, can identify
your watch is a f*cking fake.

sorry friends, but the original thread is from thailand

-

Differences between movements (=> Hands, rehaut)
Differences between producion batches (bezel teeth, datefont!)
Take care especially of the datefont...! TTK & Narikaa always sold the good one, but I received a Beginmariner which is supposed to be the same but the movement... and it was ridicioulous!.
all with the "case no. F520117" are from the same factory.
and all has the same rehaut...
am i wrong? please, show us detailed pics of the item, but with the case no.
the swiss eta 2836, eta 28xx clone or the cheapest asia movement has
of course different "movement" parts. e.g. hands and datefont.
-
the watch isn't a special of one seller.
maybe ...fantasy...advertising... of the sellers ;-)
take time and do some reserach about that. :-D
-
no, all with the case no. F520117 are from the same factory ;-)
the only difference i know is ...
you get the item with swiss eta 2836, eta 28xx clone or with the cheapest asia movement.

hello watchmakers
unfortunately at the moment i can't sell the crowns or other genuine parts.
but after i'm finished some projects i will sell the rest of my parts ;-)
-
take an exactly look only at the bezel.
e.g.
and now this ...
do you see the big difference of bezel thickness?
the difference of bezel highness?
-
not the whole thickness,
only the "bezel" thickness ;-)
that is the crucial point.

Hello all,
I would like to buy a vintage DRSD. My budget is up to 150$, and thus I am looking for an "entry level" version.
I've searched left and right for information on Entry Level Seadwellers, with not much help. Most topics seem to concentrate on the Noobmariner or MBW SD's, with not much info on budget SD's and especially DRSD's.
I was wondering what people's thoughts are about TTK's recently posted Entry Level Vintage Seadweller. I've posted a photo and the link below for easy reference.
Also, do you have any other suggestions for an entry level vintage DRSD from other dealers?
Thanks in advance for your comments,
L
do you have pics of the bezel thickness?
the most seadweller has an absolute wrong bezel.
that's very painful for the money :-(
580 or 585 endlinks what fits better for mbk / mbw 1665 and 1680 ?
