Very much so. I work in the head office of the UK branch of the second biggest food manufacturer in the world. I guess you'd expect some decent watches being worn by the higher-up people.
Nope.
I've not seen anyone else with a mechanical watch on their wrists. Nothing that I'd think of as a good, decent watch at all. Strange.
I reckon you're going to be right on the edge and will only need to use one keeper.
Mine is pretty much right, any more I order I'm just going to increase slightly to 150/90 and ask Aaron to leave off the last two holes. I'm actually doing it up on the third tightest one leaving four looser ones available.
Interesting. Amsterdam and all those /me wonders just what sort of websites, videos and films *nudge nudge*
I'm a network and unix systems manager who dabbles in telecoms.
Seems that the network thing is pretty common around here.
Complete with Davidsen hands and a pin job by finepics.
The strap is weathered distressed leather from Aaron. I think it really suits the vintage look of the watch.
I have large wrists at 8.5 inches circumference and I've never found a strap that is a good fit until now.
For the first time I've got a strap which actually goes through all the keepers, but I guess at 150/85 that's not too surprising. You can see the superb job Aaron has done on this strap. Fantastic.
This is going to be spending a lot of time on my wrist
Yes, everyone is entitled to an opinion but to post exactly the same thing in every thread where a subject is mentioned is tantamount to preaching in my book and this isn't the place for that.
But that's been got over now anyway so I'm obviously not the only one who thought that. There's another discussion thread for this.
To the OP - Nice picture, it looks good.
I like it but the real icing would have been to just have the middle prong of the crown remaining, remove all the others and the impression would have been of middle finger rudeness
I've just got one of those tools from Reg.
Couple of questions.
What's the silver screw on the side for, and the moving bit it holds in place?
I'm also going to be resizing a PO bracelet but it has no arrows, how do I know which way I should be pushing?
Ta.
I bought a cheapy LV from Andrew a while back and it took me the best part of a week to actually find the etching, it's there but it's incredibly faint and only getting it at exactly the right angle shows it.
Which is about right I think?
Humour me.
42mm/45mm. Which actual measurement is this?
Dial diameter?
Inner edge of bezel to inner edge of bezel?
Outer edge of bezel to outer edge of bezel?
