  1. I could hate you I've just looked at your thread with the white one - Very nice indeed. What size is it, width and depth?
  2. I had a good look at By-Tors thread in the Breitling section just yesterday, none of them jump out and say 'buy me'.
  3. It all started around 18 months ago when I was pointed at the old RWG by a friend on another forum. Oh my word. I was amazed at what was available and very quickly I bought a watch that I'd wanted for a long long time, but strangely enough it was the one I've worn the least. The Rolex day-date. Not long after that I discovered the wonder that is Panerai. I spent a fair while looking and decided that the plain and simple look is what I like best so I bought the 005 Logo you see here bottom left. I had it superlumed and the canon pin sorted and it rapidly became a daily beater. But I wanted more. As one does! I picked up the Orange Monster from eBay for a good price, shortly followed by the vintage Seiko Diver that's on a bond Nato strap. My next purchase was the LV Sub you see here. It's my favourite version of the Submariner range and I'm going to pick up the MBW version soon. After that came the 127 and custom strap. It immediately became my favourite watch and it's the one that's had the most wrist time out of any of them (apart from the Orange Monster that my son wore daily for a good few months). I'd seen the Planet Oceans around a bit but the orange one really caught my eye so that was a natural next purchase, and after that I decided that it was about time I had a chrono so the Tag Link was the obvious choice. Finally, I recently picked up the Ferrari Panerai you see here bottom right. At last, a PAM with a datewheel has joined my collection I've tried to buy 'swiss' movements wherever possible, the only asians are the LV and a pair of 7750s in the Link and the FER00002. What comes next? Two of them, the 127 and the FER00002 are going to The Zigmeister for service and regulation. I'll be buying an MBW Sub LV to fill that gap, but that means I'll have eight automatics and two manual winds. Guess I'm going to need another winder soon. Thanks for looking
  4. It's gorgeous and I'm wondering how I'm going to get one. The money isn't the problem, it's getting it to the right place that is!
  5. If moneybookers wasn't playing silly buggers with me (like not accepting my verification code), I'd be getting one of these TODAY! *sob*
  6. No, if PMs are blocked then posts can still be read. I had rbj on block after he nearly did me out of $800 but I could still read his posts.
  7. I concur, I'm in the UK and have had no issues receiving watches. When I was still buying airsoft toys from the far east, it was a different matter though!
  8. Nice idea (and you've got mail!)
  9. Hi The Zigmeister, I tried to PM you regarding some work as you said in your thread in GD that PMs are back on again but it's coming back saying blocked. We've not had any dealings in the past so is it just that you've got PMs turned off once more? I figured this was the best way and place to contact you as I can't PM you to see if that's the situation. Thanks
  10. I think I've only ever had one where the tracking info actually meant anything, and the longest anything has taken was somewhere between three and four weeks. I'm naturally impatient as well so it was a real nightmare. Good luck
  11. Just saw this thread and the other one regarding what happened when The Zigmeister did as suggested. I know which method I'd prefer to be used on my watches and it sure ain't the 'swish and dip' one.
  12. Hi The Zigmeister, I just tried to PM you with no luck, saying PMs are blocked? We've not had any dealings in the past, perhaps they're just disabled again?
  13. Slap me. I read the first post as just "can a rollie be sold in a pawn shop".
  14. My rep only has lume on the hands, and it's quite poor at that. Does the gen have lumed numbers, or is it the rep accurate in that it's just the hands?
  15. I never even saw the need to register there, everything I need rep-wise is here.
  16. I bought mine just because I like it. I'd wear the same watch with or without the Ferrari logo on it.
