Submariners were sold with different bracelets as an option including a Jubilee option , Rolex did do special orders but the 7836 was never a replacement for the 9315, the 9315 was replaced with the 93150. The C & I never had a 7836 designation, I think you are confusing it with the 7206 which was only used on the Swiss rivet, never the C & I. I know the rivet is the one I should have but for some reason I have always likes the folded link bracelets more. I have had both rivet and folded links in the past, granted the rivets were C & I and to me they were way too fragile and the rivets would snag on sweaters and any other long sleeve jumper I was wearing. Unbelievable post panerai153, thank you. There are many times in my life when I look back upon the sacrifices that I made for money and in the end it all worthless. I have a daughter in university who I rarely saw grow up because I was gone most of the time working and now take pills for high BP, GAD and depression, all I'm pursuit of the almighty dollar.
