Well, I've been reading this thread since it started and, frankly, I'm confused. I hear much talk of "pornographic" avatars. I have yet to see one, here. Maybe I missed the masturbating lady.... but I would consider the girly avatars here as erotic, not pornographic. I certainly would not have any problem with my kids seeing the erotic avatars here. In the main, they represent the beauty of the human form. Having said that, I do find some of the more grotesque avatars very disturbing... there are some that I would not wish my children to see. For me, member's avatars are free expression... some are provocative, most are creative, all are chosen to reflect some aspect of the author's personality. Maybe the avatar will tell you more about the author than his writing can. For instance, mine combines my appreciation of the female form with my passion for cycling.....

I guess that you mean the lug screws... This has been a problem since the first 111 burst upon the scene. I think that the factory simply drive the screws into an unthreaded hole... and hope that it will cut some sort of thread. Compare this - a new screw, and one that I removed from a brand new 111 (the famous "17 ewell", "officne" version) Yes.. its an old photo. Enough time has passed that this problem should have been fixed. In the meantime, there is always tread-lock. Our friend... Having said that, the David Sen 195 that I received today has perfect treads on both the screws and in the lugs. It can be done...

Highdef... that watch would probably be too big for your car! Pretty car.... I think that the Pam Ferrari watches are a great improvement over the GP watches, which were, let's face it, pretty staid and, frankly, dull. Innapropriate. But I wouldn't buy one of these Pam Ferraris even if I did have the car to match. I prefer the traditional Panerai style.

Get a 111 or 183. You will lose yourself in it... and so will she. These are beautiful watches... and the reps are a quantum leap in build quality. Nothing that you have right now can compare.

On any automatic Pam, it is a long way from the crown to the movement. Big case, small movement, long winding stem. So the crown is likely to wobble. Treat it gently... I'd be concerned if this happened on a 6947 Pam, though. Like a 111 or 183. On a Fiddy, well... it's a long way from the crown to the movement

These things work well - I used to use them a lot, for cleaning up white-metal castings, prior to soldering. They work very well... BUT... Wear rubber gloves. Or spend the next week picking tiny, invisible, glass fibre splinters out of your hands.
