  1. Funny guys but I have thick skin so go ahead and poke fun. In the meantime I did manage to get it working again just by twirling the hand and date wheel a few cycles. The minute counter still does not work though. So now I think I'll just wait a while and see what happens. I have 3 others with A7750 and 've never had a problem. Nice looking watch otherwise.  BTW I live northern Vancouver Island

  2. Ok lets be honest about this. MOB first asked me a question then I answered him then he called me a Canadian Legend. So what was all that aboot eh? Anyways that's why I didn't thank him specifically. But then you started ganging up on me for some strange reason. But  regardless I humbly apologize to MOB and thank you for this great forum and I'll try to remember not to PM you.. But getting back to my issue yes I'm fully aware of the problems with shipping and customs and the like and yes I've read about a few who have lost watches but for the most part as long as you follow the TD's specific instructions then most people seem to eventually receive their watch back. Certainly no one has yet to reply to my thread re losing their watch. In my particular case I have to stick it in the mail to someone so it may as well be to China and I have probably a 90% chance of success.

    Thanks again to everyone.

  3. Could anyone advise if the standard Rolex case back openers (nut type) fit rep watches? I've tried my sticky ball but its too tight. I also have a 3 prong universal wrench but don't want to chance stripping the case since 316 ss is pretty soft. I'm looking a buying a set on Ebay - they're pretty cheap about $20 for the full set of six.

  4. I got mine from TT and yes its 42mm but it does look bigger. Also the countdown feature doesn't work (the hand is glued on the dial). I knew this before I purchased so I wasn't surprised when I received it. A couple of other picky things - The blue bezel is not the same blue on the dial but I'm not sure if its supposed to match? Also the etched crown a 6 is too close to the edge and is cut-off slightly. Otherwise its a really nice watch and I would definitely recommend.

Also just noticed that you're looking at a plated watch. My understand is that the plating wears off pretty quick that why I stuck with the ss/ss. I was originally looking at the rose gold 2 tone.

  5. Thanks alligoat. Most of my recent contact with PC has been through Peter not Josh so I'm wondering? Everything else seems ok otherwise. I thought maybe that the subforums were still a work in progress and that Josh would hopefully be back again.
