  1. I'm wanting to build a 7928 and I'll probably start out with the "Tudor 5514" from Josh at Perfect Clones. My goal is to drop in an ETA 2846, so is it worth the extra $100 to get the A2836 version for a easy drop-in, or will the 2813 version accept the ETA without any major case mods?

    Thanks!

Rolex says money, Tudor says class.

  2. You can use a eta 2846, 2879, 2836 or a 2834 (with the day wheel and plastic ring removed).

If you wanna reuse your original dial you'll have to cut the feet and use dial dots.

Thanks for your help! I found a nice 2879, will that go in my cartel case okay?

  3. I just bought a nice modded Tudor 7928 with a stock Asian 21j movement. I purchased with with intentions of swapping to a Swiss ETA movement at some point as this will be a keeper for me. Understanding I will have to change hands, at the least, what movements could I use without major modification to the case?

    Thanks!
