  1. Coming soon. I'll hit everyone involved with a PM shortly.... I've been busy.
  2. The canon pins are stepped. The hour, minute, and seconds hands have different hole diameters to match the steps, and that's what is being specified when you see 110/65 for example. Typically you buy the correct hands to fit a movement and the movement specs (such as ETA) specify the sizes. You *can* get into broaching the hands to fit a movement (when the hole diameter is smaller than the pin you want to fit to), but I'd say "no thanks" to that. Of course The Zigmeister would probably say "no sweat" to that, though. Here's a neat vintage hand broaching tool :
  3. Dunno 'bout your watchmaking skills, but your marketing skills could sure use some polishing.
  4. I'm betting that the screw is in there somewhere and probably need to be extracted.
  5. I wonder how it would look on one of TTK's sandal straps? :whistling:
  6. FYI - I packed up the crystals from run 3 this evening and should have them shipped back to everyone tomorrow. Flav will most likely post pics of the crystals he is reinstalling for some of the members in run 3 later this week. -Chief
  7. Looks great. The G.S. buckles are second to none also... Good stuff all around!
  8. Awesome. Hopefully mine will look this good someday.
  9. So, LP, it would appear as though your hiatus from reps has ended. Good deal. Great watches.
  10. Very nice sub. Perhaps the best 16610 yet. The HEL bracelet and T < 25 dial make this watch amazingly accurate. The excellent CG work doesn't hurt either.
  11. Great watch!! Take a look at some of The Zigmeister's breakdown pictorials. His work is second to none, and I suspect a bit more affordable than 650 Euros on a 7734. I've seen him restore old movements that, on the outside, looked quite a bit dirtier than yours. Examples (El Primero, and V72): http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=174807 http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=181147 http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=223326
  12. Welcome to the club!
  13. Good post. Simple and straight forward.
  14. The missing marker at 9:00 is a bit a of a giveaway. The datewheel should be solved by the watchmeisters soon, and there are still cyclopes available from me. The last piece of the puzzle would then be a Ti crown, which can't be too easy to find at this point....
  15. By the way, what exactly are we referring to as "TW Best" these days? Because the actual TW Best subs, once known for deep cylindrical rehaut, have not been produced for quite a while now.
  16. I had found a place, but have lost the time to pursue it further. kruzer00 and swdavid were also doing some legwork. I don't know where they are, but kruzer00 is motivated....
  17. The run 3 crystals are due back in my hands from the coater any day now. Then run 4 will get under way, and after that, run 5. Signups for run 5 in a couple weeks or so....
  18. I have noticed this recent trend as well. And The Zigmeister makes a good point. I'm not calling anyone out specifically, but several noobs seem to want to extract knowledge from or participate in services provided by RWG members without giving back. Now, there's nothing wrong with being a noob at all, but IMO, step 1 is to upgrade your membership and support the board. Then we'll talk.
  19. Howdy, howdy.... You've found the right place to be.
  20.
  21. @ Shultz - great looking watch. Mind if I borrow it to wear to a job interview next week? @ The Zigmeister - are you kidding??! You changed the L to a T? WOW
  22. Cool. Maybe you'd like to buy my VERY lightly used HK Tan vintage (from the 50's) Italian bomber jacket strap, then. Worn all of twice. I'll make you a good deal.
  23. Looks pretty darn good to me. Font is a little thinner looking than on my Ubi-vintage insert, but still looks pretty good.
  24. HKTan straps are not as nice in my honest opinion. They are very stiff and uncomfortable. And whatever he uses to treat the edges is very brittle, so it cracks easily and then doesn't look so good.
