Ah. I guess it pays to read the entire post. There were just too many distracting pictures to look at!!! I do really like that salmon dial. Very sharp.
Anyhow, I think you can fix the date alignment by prying up the overlay and reseating it and properly gluing it down flat.
Good luck!
Actually, the marker outline on the gen is paint. There are no metallic markers at all. FYI.
Here's an unlumed gen blue dial with the painted marker outlines:
FYI I've purchased a Chloe Paddington from Moi's source and it's on it's way to me right now. I'll post some pics when it arrives, that is if I can do so without everyone at work going "Dude, what are you doing taking pics of a purse?!" since I didn't want it delivered to home because it's an XMas gift....
And the auction he won before that was wireless networking equipment.... Hmmmm.... Doesn't know how to set the date on a watch; wireless networking equipment.....
Just remember - not that it is a huge deal on a $25 strap though - that when you order from TC Straps you can't sell the strap on Paneristi because TC Straps is banned there.... FWIW
Wow, first the chipped dials, now breaking bracelets... This had been the first watch to distract me from PAMs in a while and had become my new favorite, but now I'm almost afraid to wear it!!
#10. You can trade an old 44 for a new 22.
#9. You can keep one gun at home and have another for when you're on the road.
#8. If you admire a friend's gun and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times.
#7. Your primary gun doesn't mind if you keep another gun for a backup.
#6. Your gun will stay with you even if you run out of ammo.
#5. A gun doesn't take up a lot of closet space.
#4. Guns function normally every day of the month.
#3. A gun doesn't ask , "Do these new grips make me look fat?"
#2. A gun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it.
And the number one reason a gun is favored over a woman....
#1. YOU CAN BUY A SILENCER FOR A GUN
I emailed him inquiring about some stock, and he immediately emailed back saying he had what I was looking for. So I asked for price... Then I didn't hear back for about a week. So I emailed again asking for price. And a third time. He finally emails back having no clue what I'm talking about. Then about a month goes by, and I decide to drop him another email. He emails back saying he's doing great thanks for asking. LOL It was like a "Who's on first" skit. I finally gave up.
