Many times I've seen these referred to as "the same pushers used by Rolex in service replacement". Sorry folks, but I don't buy it. I've now got a set installed (thanks, The Zigmeister) on a new-to-me Daytona to be named and photographed later. Compared to the gen (original non-service replacement) pushers on my 16520, there is a world of difference. The Cousins pushers have a thin rattley feel to them when unscrewed, and the screw threading in both directions is not as smooth as the gen. Not even close. Now, granted, I've not yet seen or felt gen service replacement pushers. So it is possible that Rolex is using these cheapos now as well. But I really think that while these Cousins/Ofrei jobs may look the part, they probably aren't the same as OEM at all. I'm not impressed. Anyone agree/disagree? Curious to hear more input.

Yep, good stuff. Even though Geddy's voice isn't what it once was (and hasn't been for quite a while), their musicality is as good as ever. I saw them on the last tour as well. They played the entire Moving Pictures album (their prime IMO), and it was simply great. I can understand why you went twice!

Hmmm, in going back over this . . . it just seems a little fishy. A treasure chest of rare military dials, pictures lacking detail (deliberately?), stored in a vintage military box (nice touch?)... I dunno, the more I look at the dials, the less convinced I am.

Watchmeister's is a heavily modded rep, with genuine parts - if you weren't aware. You're looking at $500 for the rep just to get started, and a whole lot more from there depending on how far you decide to go with it.

You could probably go either way on the crown. I would think the reason for an RSC to replace pushers and crown would be to replace / upgrade the seals. So it would seem like they'd get replaced together if they're going to be replaced at all. But, I'm sure there are all combos out there in the real world.

Highland Park is a moderately peated whisky. The 18 year Highland Park has a bit of smoke in the aftertaste, but as far as I can tell that is completely gone in the 30 year. It tastes like a completely different whisky. Maybe there's a very small hint of smoke, but the primary flavor for me is caramel. Along those lines, there is a Bourbon (unpeated) that drinks like a Scotch and has a very buttery toffee flavor as well: Parker's 27 Year Old Heritage Collection. I think you'd like it a lot. It's pretty amazing. That said, I myself am a fan of peaty whisky. Then again, I guess I like almost all single malt whisky. But Lagavulin is one of my favorites. The HP 30 is just in a different class though. It's something very special.
