  1. LOL. if it wasn't a genuine movement were the genuine hands ever fitted? If so one would have to conclude it is a gen movement, correct? I mean working off of your logic that you have no use for the hands without a genuine movement.

If it isn't a genuine movement I feel bad for both parties involved. If the movement checked out and was a genuine movement would you be willing to split the 300 he refunded? You know as a token for dragging someone through the mud over fake DRAMA caused by idiotic thinking?

  2. I haven't bought a watch from there. I have bought box sets there and they are great (bought the box sets before the name change). However all dealers can get you the same watches So if a cheap one is what you are looking for you can get one from any dealer LOL.

  3. Dunno this one looks really good lol...

But I guess it depends on what your looking at spending and what kind of style you like.

This one also looks good, you know for the price lol.

You may notice my lack of lume on the orange markers lol. Don't know what version that makes it but the engraving is really close lol

Guess I have to agree with those other people. Do some research or ask something a little better.

For those wondering about those I showed above...

The SOSF shown in the photos was purchased second hand off another member off TRC (i think that's what it was called it has been so long I don't remember) came with a genuine rubber. I have had the lume done by VAC (and a service) but don't believe those photos show the lume after it was done.

The Milgauss... Straight out of the box nothing at all done. Don't remember what model I purchased, I believe the newer ones have the lume on the orange markers. It was purchased over a year ago possibly two years ago. I believe a dealer was running a special on these and that is where I got it. I am still feeling it and still wear it around.

Next the Graham. Again purchased second hand off the same forum as the SOSF. The Graham was officially the second watch I purchased, the first was the SOSF. But the Graham was the first replica I ever received. This was because a member off that forum lived locally here in Denver and was selling some breitlings and this Graham. I offered to meet up and look at the Graham. I ended up buying it that day. Purchased it from him at an Irish pub in Denver. The SOSF arrived a few days later. I have done nothing at all to the Graham, I am toying with sending it to VAC to be lumed. I would love the option of sending it to The Zigmeister for a service and lume but I hear he isn't accepting work from newbies (people he doesn't know).

  4. I haven't had any issues what so ever with my Graham. I have had it for quite a bit of time, one of the first replicas I purchased. My newer ferrari (with A7750) has some jerky movements with the chronograph second hand that weren't cleaned up with a service. The Graham doesn't have that problem and hasn't been serviced yet. If he is looking for a Graham getting a replica is a great option.

  5. I second what JEKS said... I haven't had mine stolen but I know others who have had theirs taken. In the city I use a backpack for my photography gear (use foam inserts in it for keeping your stuff safe). But those Pelican cases are great. I have three but none for watches. Interesting use though I think I might pick up one and use it. I need another watch case and holder anyhow.

  6. I like it. I wear all of my watches fairly tight. The Graham looks tighter because of the angle I had to have it at to get the wrist photo. (large camera and lens also) I don't wear it near as much as I wear the SOSF though that one is like my favorite...

  7. I had my tooth brush arrive DOA when I flew to Vegas. And found that it had been bumped while in my bag and turned on. I am thinking something like that is more likely than a safe killing the battery lol.

The hotel I stayed at said they charged for the safe but I didn't get charged anything.
