  1. Thank you very much for the input. I also imagine i will need to get movement retaining ring to fit into the case. Do you know of any good makers of these?
  2. Hello all, I am thinking of building my first project watch. I would love to build a sterile submariner on the cheap and learn a thing or two in the process. I have a gen GMT Master II and would love to compare the two when i finish my project on the sub. I currently am sourcing parts and would like to go with a cheap submariner case on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/40mm-submariner-watch-case-bracelet-set-for-ETA-2836-2-movement-NEW-/221552205912. I plan on using an eta 2836-2 movement that I already have from an older watch of mine. I also plan on giving it my own little spice and using these Seamaster style hands from eBay: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/SEAMASTER-300-MILSUB-SUPER-LUME-WATCH-HANDS-for-ETA-2081-2824-2836-2892-MOVEMENT-/221940288505?hash=item33acac0bf9:g:2WEAAOxyCJ9SaZVI also i plan on just getting a sterile submariner dial from eBay. I would love some input to see if this would be a worthwhile project to take on. I am open to any suggestions. Thank you. Happy Holidays!
