  1. You guys are incredible. Thanks for helping me out. I was able to fish the movement tab out, but cant locate the screw. I think your right, its inside the movement. Is this something i should consider sending out? I tried to move the watch around to get the screw to fall out.

Thanks again for all your help. Much appreciated!

  2. Thanks for the reply SSteel. It's the p9000 movement which I think is a 7750. I'm at a slight disadvantage because the dealers website was taken down yesterday, so i cant see the exact model. I took a picture of it helps. The rotor seems to spin freely. 101db03b48b7aaab04e804299739171b.jpg

  3. Hey guys,

I purchased a new PAM616 from a trusted dealer about 6 weeks ago. It began stopping in the middle of the day about 2 weeks ago, and then died completely last night. Usually, if i would give it a little help with a manual wind it would start back up. I took the back off, and nothing seems to be apparently broken. The date wheel and time function correctly when the stem is turned.

Anyways, looking for guidance on what to do with this thing. I dont know if there are replacement periods with TD or if I will need to find someone to fix it. I am still relatively new to watches, so im not 100% comfortable in breaking it down but would oppose a try if anyone thinks it could be an easy fix.

    Appreciate the guidance.

  4. Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share a new pickup from TB. I picked up a custom strap to go with it. I picked up the 616 because I thought the deal was very good. Frankly, I was about 50/50 on liking it when I ordered it. Now it's one of my favorites. The carbon isn't as visible in real life as it is in pictures.

Anyways, I just wanted to share with the rest of you.

  5. Great! Thanks for the info guys. Interesting to know about the hand stack. I think im still going to go with it. The only other white faced watch I have been able to find that I like is the PAM daylight (188-i).

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

  6. First I would like to thank all of your for spreading this horrible rep affliction on me. I find myself looking at watches non stop, and my "must buy" list has grown to about 30 watches in less than a month. :)

Anyways, I am thinking about picking up an Explorer Polar 42mm V2. This seems to be the newest/ most recently updated model I could find from the TD's. This one comes with a default 2836 movement but has the option to upgrade to the Asian 3187 clone for 90 dollars more. What do you think? Is it worth the extra 90? My concern is, that of all my reps, a Rolex would be the most likely to be scrutinized by others and I have no experience with the 2836 or the A3187, I do have a JLC DMC 2824 where the movement tends to be pretty smooth.

    Anyways, thanks for your inputs!

  7. They also own superwatches.hk. I actually just placed an order on that site, before I found RWG. So far, I have had good service and a smooth transaction. I just received the tracking number yesterday. (4 days after ordering). I wont say it has been good experience until everything arrives. Happy to post an update once the product arrives.

  8. My name is Brian. I am new to the site, and somewhat new to watches in General. I had purchased a couple of Tag's of the last 5 or 6 years, and was referred to this board by a Youtuber.

Yesterday, i spent my entire day at the offices looking at offerings from the TD websites and have been amazed on how many things I have been missing out on. Additionally this gave me the itch to start buying things. ha

Anyways, just wanted to say Hello. Looking forward to browsing the boards and learning more.
