  1. Hi,

I just did some reassembling for my 16610 with Yuki 3135, and I just realized that watch is okay to operate when I wear it,

but it is stopping whenevr the dial(face) is turned down.

When I checked banaced wheel, it operates well when it is up-sided, but getting slower and finally stopped when dial is down.

I tried several times to reassemble and assemble but couldn't figure out the reason.

Can some of you kidnly let me know which part do I need to check again?

    Appreciate in advance.

    Thanks.

  2. I finished to build 16610 with TC case and Yuki 3135 a couple of weeks ago.

To fix movement into TC case, I realize screws leg length is not enough and even its head.

Then I took londer one but I made damages on date wheel seat as the screw is too much long(about 1mm longer than given depth) and I tried to screwed in completely without knowing it :(

Anyway, I could get the perfect screws and finally fixed them well.

Sorry to unable to state screw's detail size as I also don't know, but well fitting sized screw is much safer than screw with additional thin and tiny plate(forgot what people call it)

  3. JMB did a couple for me, I was very satisfied with his work, and a really good guy to work with. You will need to have your watch disassembled, as he only wants the mid case. Should be no problem sending a mid case to the USA and back to you.

Can you advise me how can I contact JMB and how long does it take excluding delivery lead time?

    Thanks

  4. I haven't look through previous 5year's replies, are there any information where I can get the gen-likes bezel screw?

Couldn't find it despite of thousands of searching.

If someone wear Santos 100, first thing I notice wether it is gen or rep is head of bezel screw.

    Here are the difference.

    Anyone knows the sourse?

If it does, then is three possibilities

    3. Reversing wheels went bad

As far as the date jumping two dates, the date jumper has to be adjusted or replaced with gen

    Hi Mike,

I saw your previous 16610+Y3135 build.

In TC's blog, he explained that TC case can take gen 3135 without any modification and you also haven't mentioned about it.

In my case, I realize screw length is not enough to fix move in the case when I unsrew 2Xmovement holding screw,

So I had to apply some modification on it.

If TC's right, I'm afraid I made a mistake or something when I install movememt in the case.

Can yoi advise me how did you fix movement in the TC case and what kind of screw you used?

Your advise will be much helpful.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure I fully understand what you are saying, but I think you mean the rotor is spinning when you wind it, correct? That is not normal and usually indicates a bad reverse wheel.  The only fix is to replace it. OIL is NOT the solution, as many people think. So if someone tells you to oil it, that won't help.

    Thanks for the advise.

Not the problem as you mentioned - rotor is spinning when widning it,

but after shaking it several times, rotor rotates very rapidly not by inertia and centrifugal force but by rotational force or something...

and with some vibration just like mobile phone.

    Difficult to discribe it.

    Thank you for reading anyway!

  7. Hi,

Today I experience very weired reaction from my 16610 with Yuki.

It probably fully wound as I wear it 3days consecutively.

Without particular reason(dont know why), I just shaken it 10 times with a bit strong stroke and tried to litsen its sound,

It's like rotor rotate very rapidly like a electric fan for 1~2 seconds.

As par as I know from my poor knowledge, 3135 winds uni-direcrionally, and will be slept when it fully wound,

but it reacts like propeller wound by elastic band when it released.(quite suprised)

I never experience this from my gen dj and ym, I'm wondering if this is normal or abnormal.

    need your advise

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the advise.

Able to find watchmaker has new piece of date jumper part nearby, will try it tomorrow.

  9. Hi Bro.

I recently built 16610 with Yuki 3135 and rest of gen parts on TC V6 case.

I satisfied with most of the quality but got 2 issues as followings.

    - weak(not enough) tention of date jumper and it causes date changing 2days at the same time

(Saw same kinds of post from other forum but don't know it fixed successfuly and how)

    - I expected no rotor sound from Yuki 3135 but it has like eta series.

Please advise me that if this can be fixed by replacing date jumper and rotor parts.

Roughly it costs around 500usd for parts only...start to questining if this really worth... :-D

    Appreciate you advise in advance.
