TT does not "hand pick" any of the dealers on this site and as such is not responsible for whatever goes on between yourself and another individual. Think of this place as a newspaper classified section. If you buy a car from a seller in the newspaper and the car is [censored], do you blame the newspaper? I don't think so.

I don't mean to offend you, but I think you need to do some more reading. All of the supported dealers listed on the site have actual watch photos on their website. You will get farther by reading the guides in the individual sections than registering and requesting others to direct you. Overall, it is a great place with a lot more to offer than just "who has the best xxx"

I believe you mean to say Swiss 7750. The 7753 is an entirely different movement with different configurations of subdials, etc. and does not have an Asian counterpart. There are Asian 7750 as well as Swiss 7750.

I have been to the Tourneau in the forum shops every year for the last four years and the sales people in there are extremely rude and ignore the customers. Tourneau is a good place to "window" shop but they won't give you much help and won't cut you a deal. They are most interested in signing people up for their credit card. I spoke with a sales lady at another watch shop in the forum and mentioned it to her and she says that her customers complain about them all the time, so it is not just me. I ended up buying a Tag in her shop because she was great to deal with and gave me a discount. If you are really looking to buy, check out the shops in the Venetian. They have two or three smaller shops that are great to deal with. Most casinos do have their own dealers but service is extremely hit and miss. I struck out at the shop in the Mirage before we went to the Beatles Cirque show.

Also just wanted to clarify, you are not really having it coated again. They strip off the chinese AR before they do an aftermarket AR job, so stating that it is coated "over" the rep AR is incorrect. Several people offer AR removal as a service but I have had good luck taking some really fine graded steel wool to the crystal to strip the rep ar.

There is also a coloring issue to keep in mind. Most of the heavy AR on the reps has a strong blue tint to it. This tint is more accurate to the gen on some brands and less so on others. For example, a gen Breitling will have a heavy blue tint so the rep is close to the gen in that regard, but an IWC will not have the bluish tint to in in the gen but the rep does.

You did not mention Vacheron Constantin in your list, but you need to be making a good amount of coin to pull that off.

Financially it would most likely not be worth it. Citizen watches usually are not worth much used. I would not recommend trying the gold plating as that usually looks cheap and comes off. Despite the financial aspect, it may be worth it to you to fix it up for your own personal reasons. If you are really attached to this watch then by all means go for it.
