I've purchased 4 J12's for my wife - 2 black and 2 white and one each with diamond bezels. I bought these from Nanikaa for less than $100 delivered for each and have had them for almost 3 years. My wife wears them everyday (particular the 2 with diamond bezels) and they show no sign of wear. We bought the quartz version of the chronograph and they have performed quite well. We are very pleased.

I've purchased 4 J12 chronos from Narikaa (regular Black and White and Black and White with diamond bezel). My wife has had these now for over 2 years and all are working flawlessly. They are quartz and she is quite happy. There have been no problems with the ceramic.

I believe I paid somewhere around $120.00 for the diamond bezel watches.

I think you are right. There were 3 of the watches I would have supported and purchased (Breguet, Chopard and Lange), but could only vote for 1. Allowing us to select 3 or 4 watches from the list would show what our desires are and should generate substantially more support for various watches and hopefully will create a contingent great enough to cause this project to proceed.

Why would they wanna rep watches that can be bought genuine for under 1 grand? Theres no logic behind this.

Most Replicated watches cost between 5 and 20k brand new. Or do you think the fiddy or the 1938 pams are sold at wal mart for a dime??

Whats the problem with a dress watch? Ok, its not good watch if you want to draw attention to yourself, because they barely get noticed by others (unlike an "OH-MY-HOLY-LORD-IS-THAT-BIG"-monster)

My favorite in the IWC line is the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar. I would like to see a quality rep of this beautiful watch, but doubt that will ever happen.

I am not the oldest member of this (or the other forum) and not the newest. I have purchased 6 reps from various dealers (including TTK) to date and am happy with each of them.

What I don't understand in this thread (or the other one at RWI) is what the big fuss is all about. If the dealers want to raise the prices, is that not their option? They do not answer to us and do not look to us to pay their bills. Pricing is and always will be determined by the seller based on their own unique situations - some may offer lower costs than others for exactly the same product, but how is that different than anything else in the world. Today you can buy the same kinds of products at different stores for different prices. We don't help the store owners set their prices - we do, however, get to decide if we want to purchase at that store FOR THAT PRICE!

I read in a post recently about the great watch (gen) deals that can be had in Hong Kong. That is a good thing. I am not certain, however, that I would receive the same level of customer service for that gen watch if there was a problem with it than if I purchased it at the Tourneau istore n South Coast Plaza. In my company, I purchase a lot of products and services (mostly computer-related) and I am constantly getting calls for people that want to bid on our contracts. Yet, I tell them the same thing each time - no thanks - we are happy with our current suppliers. "Don't you want to save money?" they ask. No, not at the expense of relationships and customer service.

When we decide to purchase a watch (like with any other purchase), are we not making a value exchange where we are exchanging currency for the particular watch we want, be it rep or otherwise? Is tihs not how we buy other things? If we want it now, we usually have to pay more than if we waited until demand dies down or there is a sale.

I GUESS I AM NOT SURE WHY ANYONE WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT A POTENTIAL PRICE INCREASE AS A PERSON WOULD STILL NEED TO MAKE A VALUE DECISION ON WHICH WATCH TO PURCHASE AND/OR HOW MANY.

Besides, you can only wear one at a time.

For me, it is quality over quantity. I don't even care too much how close to the gen it is (although that is a plus). if I like the watch and it works (this is important), then I have received the value that I was expecting when I clicked that Paypal button.

While I am a relative newcomer, it seems to me that some of those who have been around longer than I have may have forgotten the admonition to "select a dealer, then select a watch". People shop many ways - some for price and others for convenience or customer service.

I SAY - GIVE ME GREAT REPS AT A REASONABLE PRICE WITH PROMPT DELIVERY. And, I am all for our dealers making however much money they need or desire to make as I want them to prosper so more and better reps will be forthcoming to us.

I have searched the forums for the turns per day information for the new 7750B movement (in the Breitling Bentley watch), but haven't located anything concrete on this item. In searching the web, it appears the correct setting on a winder would be 800 tpd, clockwise only.

I am hoping someone on this forum knows for sure and can provide that information. I would be very grateful.

I am suprised that there is not greater hype about this rep. I think the Bentley is the most interesting and most elegant big watch of this year.

I received mine last Friday and it is very nice. The rotor makes more noise than I expected, but Eddie tells me that is normal with this movement.

All in all, a very nich watch. I am quite pleased with it.

I do have a question though if someone has an answer. Does anyone know with certainty the turns per day that are proper for a watch winder for this movement (the 7750b)? I have searched the various forums and the internet and have not found anything definitive. What I have found seems to indicate that the answer would be 800 TPD in a clockwise only setting.

Can someone confirm this?

If am not mistasking two more dealers other than Narikka are carrying exactly the sama watch.

All of them with Venus movement and all of them with the same fault.

Subdilas are too high up.

On the gen, the subs are between 3 and 5 and 9 and 7.

Yes, that gen with the black dial and gold case is awesome. I would certainly like to see a rep like that to add to my collection.

I saw this watch on at Traditional Jewelers at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, CA. It looks incredible on the wrist, if a bit pricey. I would be very interested in a reasonbly good rep as this is an incredible watch.

well WHO CARES....i don't give a damn if the caseback is incorrect...all of my reps and all of reps have flaws....

Dadog - I am in agreement with you. I personally buy reps for the way they look and not so much for their accuracy. If the big stuff is correct, then the small items just don't matter to me.

I really like the dial on this watch and have requested one from Eddie. I also like the carbon fiber dial on the PAM 140. Joshua has this watch, but without the carbon fiber dial. Hopefully, the manufacturers will make this watch with the correct carbon fiber dials. They cannot be that expensive as I see them on watches that sell for a lot less on ShopNBC than the replicas we purchase through our dealers.

I really hope to see this watch reasonably close to the original. I would certainly buy it.

The PAM 140 - I agree - that is a beatiful watch. I hope we will see a qualify rep of that someday soon.
