    First, which method worked?

I think that the movement now needs to be serviced. The best method I've found for servicing a DG movement is to de-case the movement.  Place the movement on your work bench. Face side up. Then take a 40oz ball pein hammer and smash the SOB to bits. Use a hand wisk and dust pan to collect the mess, Deposit in the trash (not recycle - we might get some of it back from China). Buy a new one. This past April they were $27.95 from Borel, but now I see they went up a bunch at both Borel and Frei, but still cheap.

That quick tutorial on servicing the dg3804 is pure gold.  Made me laugh!

  2. What a great site. I Have a gmt master ii pepsi non ceramic I got from Josuha@ perfect clones, and a sub HS01 I got from Robbie@ aoobuy. Both with highbeat 21j. Both were smooth transactions, and both are nice watches. Both took 3-4 weeks to recieve, and both had great communication. My plan was to pick one for future transactions, but they were both great, so I will buy from both again. I have already orderer a Seamaster 300 master coaxial, and am waiting on it to arrive. What's next? Im afraid my hamiliton khaki and my tissot le locle won't be getting worn much anymore.
