  1. Are either of these the UPO?

I've read the stickies but to a noobie it is pretty hard to tell the difference.  The TDs tend not to put the factories on their ads.  So can anyone more clued up tell me if either of these are the UPO version everyone raves about:

or point me at an add for one!  Thanks. BJ

  2. Thanks for the help SSTEEL! What is the probability replacing the gear pinion will fix the problem and what would the cost of repair be? One of the way to make the problem less visible is leaving the chrono running. But, in looking up the problem I've also read that the mechanism can fail if running the chrono frequently....any views or advice on this? Thanks BJ

  3. Hi

I just purchased a Seamaster Pro 300M Chrono SS/SS Blk/Ylw A-7750 from a TD. Pretty happy with the rep but the minute hand (@3 o'clock) on the chrono moves/flops about 5 degrees clockwise when the chrono is not in use. See the photos, just turning it up side down you can see how much it moves under gravity.

The TD is suggesting I send it back to China, but being UK based running the risk of postage/courier this doesn't feel like the right option. Anyone know what the problem could be and how to get it fixed in the UK/London?

    Thanks

    BJ
