  1. I lost 1 marker off of mine, had (have) a sickness, so I bought another 187 from a member here who had also received a spare case from EL. EL offered me a spare case but it was never delivered. So as of now I have 2 functional 187s, both missing 1 marker and 1 spare case in perfect condition. I have been meaning to do a swap of some sort but lack the technological abitlity to do so, and have been reluctant to send out because it has been my daily beater for a year. In that regard, these things are beasts. I abuse mine on a daily basis and evertyhing still works and resets great. The bezel seems to be the only real weak link on these things in my experience.

  2. I'm also waiting, these days with so many new watches coming out like Skyland, Concord C1, U-Boats, AP ROO etc wondering when is the big pilot coming? Is it that tough to make it? We already have running secs at 3, running secs at 12 and even 50mm U-Boats. Or is the big pilot really not that popular?? I will continue to wait......

I am right there with you...I think a lot of people are. I definitely think its popular. We've been getting teased with this watch for so long, I wouldn't be surprised if it out sells the Skyland.

  3. I've searched and can not find any dealers that have a rubber strap for the RD easy diver. I thought KING but she doesn't like sourcing accessories. Can someone point me in the right direction? I had the watch up for sale but now I might keep it, but would really like to try an source a rubber strap. THe gen strap probally goes for 2-6 grand alone .

    Thanks,

    Sulone

I would also be interested. Where did you see the gen? Do you have any pictures? I didn't even realize they came in rubber, I was considering have HKTan make a custom leather one for it, but this may be a better do.

  4. I know there are several IT profesionals who frequent this board, and while I work on a computer about 80% of the time I am not very familar with the deeper technical issues involved with them. I was hoping someone would be able to advise me as to how risky it is to have bit torrent software running on my main comptuer, or whether I should place it on a stand alone that I have done a destructive restore on (or possibly this is still not safe as it would still be on the network with my other computers). I am basically just trying to get TV shows off the net to watch on my iPod. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  5. It was broken down as follows:

    50 Stainless Steel - $23,500

    30 Rose Gold - $43,900

    20 Platinum - $69,500

My Dad has a gen Audemars and he and Mom have seen Jay-Z and Beyonce out at dinner (my kid brother pointed them out) and Dad immediately noticed he had on a Audemars similiar to his. I'm sure he noticed Beyonce first but didn't tell Mom that. :D

Thanks for the correction. My mind is getting a bit fuzzy with age. Whatever it was, seemed crazy to me.

It is truly insane. I've seen some of my guys drop ridiculous cash at strip clubs too. Best one ever, $45,000 at the Spearmint Rhino in Vegas. At least I know that guy was smart enough to put his first contract in the bank. He is spending his latest one like it's going out of style. I wish I was 6'9" and could dunk a basketball.

  6. There is a Limited Jay-Z edition Audemars Royal Oak. Very limited. I got to try one on in Vegas a while back.

And yes he does say "Bezel."

This is correct. I actually arranged the purchase of the rose gold limited edition for one of my clients (an NBA player, of course). I think it was $65,000 :o . They made 20 of them and had 3 left when we purchsed his. Only AP New York was carrying them. Oh to be wealthy like that. Must be nice.

  7. I read the original post and can't figure out what prompted that type of response to you Rob in the first place. Condone it? Certainly not. Does it it offend my sensibilites? No, I am a big boy. However, knowing what you provide to this forum however, I would be just as offended by any harsh post aimed at you, with or without curse words. The level of anger directed at you certainly wasn't merited based on your reply to him, IMHO. I would forget about it and chalk it up as another noob who has chosen to look a gift horse in the mouth. You don't need to waste your time dealing with it, you have better things to do.
