This is pretty poor. You know it is interesting, when a dealer is done wrong by a member there is a lot of outrage expressed on this board, and rightly so. But it does not seem as if the same level of outrage is felt when a baord member is done wrong by a dealer... I wonder why??

I hear ya... i spotted a PAM on Joe Torre's wrist while watching a yankee post game show.. .could not make out the model though...he wouldn't keep his &*^( hand still.

I reiterate my previous agreement with your observations. I have tag link and kirium bracelets and they feel more substantial than my SMP. Don't get me wrong, i like the SMP, even the appearance of the bracelet, but the Tag's feel more solid and have better 'heft'

yep, and there are no shortage of fine watches on people's wrists in NYC... rollie's, omegas and cartier's seem to rule, but i am begininng to see more pams and brietlings..

.. or maybe we should all put up silly nonsensical or meaningless posts to just to build up our counts.. I am sorry, but this is insulting. Some people here are using a broad brush to address a problem that is significant, but is also the result of a relatively few number of bad actors... not all of whom are even new to the board. It doesn't take a seasoned member to understand how to build business relationships or even to act in a responsible and courteous manner. Leave up to the dealers to decide who they will and will not do business with.

I think this is a good post and you make a lot of good point,s but to reiterate a previous point, i think it is wrong to lay these issues exclusively at the feet of us 'noobies'... I hate to sould unduly sensitive about this, but I remain convinced that the troubles expereinced by Eddie for instance were the result of a set-up.. i do not know why someone would do that, but someone clearly did. It does not take a brain surgon or an experienced board member to figure out what will happen if you label your return package " Replica" .. .just my two cents, but I cannot help but wonder what motivates people to act this way.

Good post, I have had chats with some of our dealers here and they were consistent with your message. I will tell you that I have swam with my PAM and not had any problems whatsoever. I have showered with my OMEGA SMP, and it is fine as well.

it does look great, but it would be better yet if you aligned that bezel (or to could be the photo angle). still that is a great combination.

pp 24 is a GREAT watch for women.. lots of jewels but very classy

Sorry to hear about all the problems andrew is having. I know i do not need to sing his prasies to the faithful but consider me a new fan.. here goes...After reading Pugwash's many posts on the OMEGA SMP GMT, viewing the pics, I took the plunge last week. Took less than a week to get the watch. Packaging was immaculate, styrofoam container packed the wtach very securely. I am not going to pretend that I am an Omega or any other kind of watch expert, but I will say that the the watch itself is gorgeous looking.. cannot be beat for the price. I read The Zigmeister's post about how the 21J movement is suseptible to irregular appearing hand sweeps depending on the positioning.. that is not the case for this watch. My only other rep is a PAM 029 2892-3 so I was a bit concerned that this watch would suffer in comparison. Clearly it is not quite as smooth, but it much smoother than i anticipated, and I am very pleased. One minor issue.. the bezel does not quire align with the face markings.. most noticable on pearl which is maybe 1/4 space off. This is NOT a big deal, I can live with it (especially for USD 108) but if anyone knows how I can fix it I would appreciate a quick line. Thanks.

My heart goes out to you. I have the good fortune of not yet having that experience, but I worry that some day soon I may. My cat is 17 and for most of her life has been my best friend. I can only imagine what you are going thru. All the best.
