Dear experts - how good/bad is it comparing to ETA 2836-2 Asian clone? (I remember seeing somewhere on this forum that there are no more PAM092 Swiss ETA 2836-2 on the market). I understand both 21J and ETA 2836-2 versions have exactly the same case - so no differences there, right? Thanks for all your advises and comments...

the only major giveaway for this rep is indeed the "gold" color of the RG insert on the bezel. I had an idea to take it out and to bring it to a goldsmith to make it really RG-plated - does anyone have an idea whether this will work? Is it possible at all to take out the "RG" insert off of the bezel? Are the hexagonal black screws for real or are they just glued in?

yes, that's understood. But is it ADVISEABLE not to run chronos all the time (i.e. keep the chronos stopped for most of the time)? Or it really doesn't matter in this case?

Excellent job! so does it make any sense NOT to use chrono functions if the gear is running all the time anyway? I mean would it potentially harm the watch if the chronos are running all the time?

Just got an email from Andrew that he cannot ship by normail Airmail to NL anymore (says airmail cannot exit China) - he is only able to ship EMS and FEDEX. Any suggestions on how to handle these? as far as I know the customs office in NL checks all the shipments by EMS/FEDEX... And Andrew does not take any customs risk to NL or BE...

forgive me asking but... are all of the 3 chronos fully functioning on this watch? Or is it only running seconds @12 and the rest of the chronos are faux?

Spent quite a few minutes last week at AD comparing my rep. Corum the the gen. one (the blue color one). The only part that is visually different is the date/day wheel (which is black on the rep i.o. blue on gen + the font is quite different (although the gen font is not pretty at all, I must say Anyway, was wondering if it's possible to buy the gen date/day wheel for this watch and how much would it cost. AND whether it would fit the mechanism?

it's either a rep or a gen screwed up in production - look at the missing black marking next to the date window (just to the right of it)...
