I have had a Mastercard with my bank for 29 years, and have zero balance due.  I tried buying a watch from one of the trusted vendors, who accepts Mastercard, and the transaction was declined.  I called the credit card company, and they don't see the attempt to charge my card.  The vendor wrote, and suggested that I wire transfer, with a discount.  I don't want to do that, because I'm protected by the card company, if anything goes wrong with the purchase.  They said that it must be a problem with the terminals on the receiving end.  Any suggestions from you veterans at this kind of purchase.  I'm tempted to try the card again, and if it still rejects, to just give up, and not make the purchase.

Where do I find trusted dealers?

Are there two different forums called RWG??  I accidentally tried to sign into a forum called RWG...the graphics were greenish.  It rejected me because I'm not registered.  I then went to a saved message from this forum, and my user name is still active.

Confusing.

Any suggestions where to get a general service on my Jaeger Lecoultre Reverso Automatique??  There's nothing wrong with it...Just want a general service.  The last one went back to JL, and cost a fortune.

I have no experience at this, so please forgive the rookie question.  How do you guys rate the Swiss ETA 2836 movement?  I'm looking at a Rep Day Date with this movement.
