  1. You guys are going to call me a dumb ass, but here's what happened:

I bought a replica Rolex, had a change of heart, and tried to sell it on ebay. I was informed by ebay that it was a violation of policy, and they removed the auction. Then I got a letter from some law firm working for Rolex with "cease and desist" and other demands like sending them my watch, sending them money, and ratting out the dealer who sold me the watch. I ignored the first letter but just got another. How much trouble am I in, and what shoud l I do?

    Thanks,

    Steve

Well at least the minute hand is the right length. The new ARF looks good, but they have used hands probably from a 40mm rep, that are too short.

    Hi Sogeha,

I think the longer looking minute hand on mine may be a parallax issue.

I might have little Donald Trump hands, too. :-(

Am I right in thinking the black ring on the bezel looks better on the ARF? Is that something I could upgrade later? What would that cost me?

    It's a 2824 versus a 2836 movement on mine.  Which is better?

The ARF has 904L, but I have read not to trust those claims. Should I?

At any rate, the ARF costs about twice as much, so I would still opt for the one I bought if I could do over.

    Best,

    Steve

  3. I've read some about Daytona reps and have learned about choices between a thicker watch and working chronometer or thinner watch and fake dials. Maybe I should think about another model. I suppose there would be the same sorts of issues with an Omega Speedmaster?
