I don’t think you need to spend $150 on a gen date wheel, you can get an awesome aftermarket one on eBay... but bear in mind, the gen or aftermarket datewheel will need a very fine sanding to match the JF datewheel size, else the quickset date function won’t work.

Not true.. I have gen dw on my sh3135 and working nicely,without sanding.

 

I’ll be using this as my base for a modded/semi Franken with Meiskiped 

JF 16610 (no rehaut engraving) with SH3135 base watch as pictured.  

 

Will be adding:

Gen Crystal 

Gen Hands

Gen Insert (still need)

Gen Crown 

Gen Bracelet or clasp-still need (Rep clasp sucks)

Movement service

Gen spec brushing 

 

Will post pics when finished and back from Miskeiped

Match the exact number on rehaut and between lugs

I had gen,i sold it and build this franken,only tell is the insert( pearl and the lines are shorter in the gen,don’t touch the insert); gen insert is about €120 and is indistinguishable!!

- gen crystal Rolex with lec and ar ( €320) 

-gen datewheel Rolex (€140)

-gen autowinding and bridge (€280)

i have spent for all about €1200 , no service yet but keep good time

I don’t know if sell it and buy (first find) a nice 16613 wm9.
