Still waiting for proper pics taken but mines now has a better movement with low cannon pin and the seconds hand removed. All credit goes to ubiquitous and The Zigmeister. All I did was finance the operation.

My exact thoughts. I'm confused as to how they "fixed" that lume dot. Did they redo it or just throw another dial in the watch? The v2 dial? Isn't the problem that the date window is either too big or too far to the right???

I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but the Skyland is my "super" rep of the year. Those who know me know I have some insane watches, there is some type of mod done to every single one of them, some more than others. Naturally I leave the beaters as is and treat them like they are, beaters. I acquired this piece from BROM and I cannot see myself doing a single mod to it. It has the best double AR out of the factory, the lume dot at 3 is better than V1. I know some think the bezel and perhaps dial is better on the first version and that may very well be accurate but my definition of a super rep is one that I will unwrap and wear with no modifications. Obviously not as good as double AR, but since it's on the inside of the crystal, it's almost impossible to scratch it.

Couple of things we need to cover: 1. We don't do "websites". We have dealers here we deal with and trust and yes some of them do have websites, but not like the ones you listed. 2. Use the search tool. LOTS of articles have been written by valued members like By-Tor (shameless plug), Andreww and others that will answer so many of your questions. 3. Read as many posts as you can. You will be amazed. 4. Have fun, it's only a watch.

There shouldn't be any problems EU to US and back. He now offers crystal removal but you will have to remove the pearl tab and the other 3 tabs. Just unscrew them and SAFELY store them, especially the little screws. DO NOT try to remove the bezel. Leave all those other screws on the bezel alone. Just make sure they are tight.

You did the right thing. I would never sleep good again if I pulled a stunt like that.

No specific problem that I am aware of but you are correct. We tend to jump from watch to watch.

eBay, fellow members or have a source. Unless you have a gen Breitling you may not get very far at the AD. Unless said AD doesn't care and just wants the money.

tazz, You know this can go bad very quickly. Since you are getting a new Blackbird, I recommend you get on Chieftang's next AR run and get the new crystal AR'd. Keep in mind YOU will have to remove the pearl and rider tabs yourself but don't touch the bezel.
