I’m sorry, I can’t help you. I have never bought a replica guitar. I have bought cheaper brands and hot roddeed them with boutique or my own pick ups and upgraded pots and wiring. As far as I’m aware, although there are a number of guys here with nice guitar collections, there aren’t any that have recently dabbled with replicas.

There is probably a reason why this thread died three years ago and there hasn’t been anything similar despite many of us being interested in guitars

No answer but I found what I needed! I think I'll try one out. I know I'll have to step up and spend some money but heck! We do it with rep watches all the time!!!
